hi anurag, i think the proccess that you have showed has changed due to new version of ADS. In ADS 2020, I cannot import PSPICE file as the way you explained.
I applied same method to import the Pspice file of OPA855. I have it in .lib format. I uploaded but while running in a circuit I am getting syntax parser error. Can you help me with that? Thanks in advance.
Hi, SPICE file usually have small problems that might need some fixing. Kindly contact Keysight tech support team and they should be able to help you with this.
Hello sir. can you please explain how to simulate the model after importing. i imported AD 8051 but i dont understand how to simulate after that. also can we import ibis models into ADS?
after you import model, you can proceed for regular simulation and there is nothing special. It depends on what kind of model you are importing. IBIS model can be used directly using model under SignalIntegrity-IBIS library palette, kindly refer to ADS documentation for more details.
Hi Shantanu, Sure it can be imported as long as the spice model is NOT encrypted. ADS supports variety of SPICE type like LTSpice, HSPICE, Spectre, Spice3, Spice2 etc
Hello sir, can you please explain how to model (spice) a varactor diode from the datasheet of the manufacturer. Please explain about simulation procedures also.
If you have a SPICE model file, you can import it in ADS and if you have the parameters mentioned in the datasheet then you can use a model card available under Devices-Diodes library and use a Diode symbol to use the same in your schematic simulation
Thaks alot....for this video I want to know to know that after importing the SPICE files how to simulate that. Actually i am trying to design a phase shifter in ADS Layout for that i have to use Varactor diode. I am importing the SPICE file of varactor diode but i am not understanding how to simulate and change parameters of that model. Sir can you help me for this? Thank you.
Hello Manh Dao, you need to contact manufacturer of diode for the same.
Hello, you can use PIN diode model for the same...
sir i have a problem when importing 180nm GDPK library into ADS can you please resolve my issue the error is silicon RF compatablility not found

sir can we add the Pspice file by infineon and is it compulasary that the format of pspice file is CIR?
Hi,
What matters is the syntax of the spice file and not the file extension.
I wany to add OPA333 regulator for low noise biase circuitry.but I couldn't found the libraray or Pspice model for this. How Can I add this component?
You would need to contact the manufacturer and ask them to give suitable model for simulations.

Is there any way through which a complete opamp circuit model can be imported?

How to import IE3D files to ADS ? Though I imported but could not define the ports.
Sarbani Sen I am not aware of IE3D file format. You can send me the file format and I can give it a try.
Anurag Bhargava File is in . geo format. Its a PCB design simulator like HFSS
I don't think .geo is directly supported by ADS but if you could export .dxf or gerber file then it should be simple
I need to import file in ADS...this is a way to do that?
Hi Puja,
It depends on what type of file you have? If you provide more specific info then I can try to help
@@BhargavaAnurag I need model file for my ads...
Thanks a lot. Good Job. very usefull
Thanks for the upload...... :)
thanks
