love it. Thank you very much.
Glad I could help :)
Beautifully explained. Modesty and quiet in these times is very rare.
You explain very well. [Btw, I was teaching analog photography at a
university in the USA and am an older lady from Germany.]
Great information
Thank you so much for the video. Looking forward to more of the series😎
How do you keep the picture brightness up when stopping down?
Increase iso?
Hi Carl, one question from another video, how do you match perfectly footage, do you use any lut? or particular setting in davinci with space color converter. Regards
If they are pretty close to start with, like two cameras from the same brand for example, both in log, I'll start with the "main" camera or A-cam and get that to where I like it. If thats a manual grade or a straight Rec709 conversion doesn't really matter in this case. Then I'll apply that same grade to the other clip, and work backwards from there, making sure the copied grade/nodes are at the end of the node tree. So any adjustments will happen before those nodes. Unless its to counteract something the nodes are doing, like reducing contrast when you have a node that adds lots of it, then you could just decrease it there instead. If its shot in raw I'll start at the raw settings to do the heavy lifting. In case of the original BMPCC and the 4K, changing the originals color science to v4 will bring it very close to the 4K, and then tweak from there.
@@carlscinema7086 sorry, I forgot to clarify, yes I mean to match the original bmpcc and the bmpcc 4k, thanks!
