Making More Power | Porting My VQ35DE Intake Manifold | V35, G35

On this week's episode I take apart the intake manifold on my V35 Skyline to port and remove material that creates restriction to airflow. I focused most of my time on the clamshell part of the manifold and left the lower section on the engine as i didn't see much gain to take it apart.
Reviewing information online it appears that porting these parts can free anywhere from 5-15hp depending on how big the port is.

Your coolant pipes need to join together. Don’t cap them off. The coolant won’t circulate properly if you cap them.
So instead of going through your throttle body as before, just join them together

That might explain why it was so difficult to bleed the system this time. The other side of the pipe is just the inlet to the heater core and the other side the outlet of the core. I don't think it will make much difference when those pipes are so big already.
