Oh boy, chalk up another Epic Event pitting the Jamacians vs US .🔥🔥🔥 Seems like every other event will feature key match-ups between world beaters from these 2 powerhouse TRACK Countries. Gonna be Epic🔥
@@silversurfertravellerMental game will win this is Paris. It’s not who’s more fast/faster. It’s who can settle their nerves in that final and run and win. Tobi lost many races even when she broke the WR and faster than the field, she still lost a few races. Don’t forget Lolo Jones stumble at the 9th hurdle back in 2008. She was the hit girl to beat, she was unbeatable and undoubtedly the favourite to win. Her nerves got the better of her. Grant Hollaway was always the favourite but see what happen in Tokyo.
@@silversurfertraveller Touche... but my point was more aimed at the US vs Jam rivalry in track in general. Obviously there's world champs in many events that don't reside in those two Countries but for the most part, it seems these 2 have the biggest rivalry. I'm Canadian myself... so I do know what you're saying. We also have world champions in certain events in track. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful to Tobi, she's clearly INCREDIBLE.
@@Dakaraisage totally correct . there are at least 4,5 girls that can win this event ....Grant finished second in 2021 .....His rival is barely 3d today . Anything can happen with those hurdles which makes it even more exciting & thrilling
Did YOU run 12.25? 😂. This is what happens when YOUR life lacks purpose. U have to troll off OTHER people's accomplishments to find some meaning to your day! (For the record, congrats to Masaii Russell, i'm neither in Jamaica's camp or USA camp...a fan of excellence wherever it presents itself)
Mental game winning this one in Paris. It’s not who is faster. Never forget Lolo jones defeat in 2008. 😢😢😢 Lolo was the favourite all year round, she beats all her competitions, but she was overthinking, putting herself under tremendous pressure, and she tripped on the 9th hurdle and lost. She is yet to recover from this. To this day it bothered her. 😢😢😢
There’s no favorite in this event at the upcoming Olympics, all 8 or 9 girls that are fortunate to lineup in the finals can win the gold, if you know track and field you would agree, world lead don’t mean ish, great accomplishment but trials is not the Olympics and the hurdles are unpredictable it’s not the flat 100m or 200m.

Haven't you heard of Tobi Amusan? Nigerian current world record holder and world championship gold medalist.
