Nice flying, nice to watch:). I also fly Volantex ASW 28 v2 and it is really good (for this money) glider. I also fly it quite dynamically and it endure this very well. I upgraded motor to 850-900W, proppeller to Aero-naut 14x8. I used battery pack 2x3Ah40C3s connected parallel (it fly better with some extra weight) - it give also more fly time and more available current. I removed wheel for bigger room for battery(my big battery I place where wheel and it's cover was). It's a little strange to fly because big flexibly of the wings(wings bend up and down;)) but flying give pleasure. It isn't glider for beginner.. Because it is quite cheep and I like dynamic fly I have kit version on spare in case of C. ;)
Great flying. I can't believe how much flight time you get out of 2600mAh. I have the FlyFly 2.5m with built up wing and fiberglass fuselage and on a 4S 2600mAh I only run for 3:30 of motor on time and land around 3.7v/cell. I know I could go a little longer safely but not much more than 4 min of motor on. I just got the FMS ASW-17, only 3 flights so far but seems pretty good as well. Seems like it would be well suited to your style of flying as it is not a thermal chaser and has a decent roll rate for 2.5m span. What do you have your flap 1 and flap 2 modes do to the wing? Another thumbs up video, great job.
Nice flying! I have a question, I saw you were flying 4S lipo. Wich propeller did you use one it? I have a 900kv motor for 3S lipo and I'd like to put 4S lipos... it's for my Fox Fms 2300mm
@@franckcfpv1295 I am not sure how strong is that motor. The motor that is on my ASW28 V2 has 850kv and has no problem spinning that prop on 4s (does not get hot at all, but it's a strong motor, sized 4023).

I heard that u are using , toggle switch alot could u guide were u playing with aileron switch ?? What throws for aileron is good ? I have phoenix evolution 2.6 m Motor 2815/ 1050kv do u think this motor can support 4 cell with 10x6 prop. Coming Sunday I will test this glider . Need your guidance
The motor can handle the 4s lipo but the stock ESC may not like it. I have upgraded the stock ESC on my ASW28 V2 to be safe when using a 4s Lipo on the stock propeller.

Well, the Cheetah is a great plane but I ranked them in terms of which glider has the most flight time cumulatively. I don't fly very often with the Cheetah.

Thank you. I have never pushed it as far as this time. You probably can't see it in the video but the wings were not just flexing up and down - in some occasions, at high speeds, the wings were twisting (the plane wanted to roll), so I had to counteract that with full aileron input until the plane slowed down from the critical speed. As you can see, this plane can take unbelievable abuse. I don't know about the accumulated hours so far but there is a lot of flying hours behind this ASW28 already. Quite amazing plane for sure, especially for the price.
@@AndrejSturm And it is unbelievable that the plane took this stressloading considering the extremly low temperatures as well.. The part with the twisting wings are very hard to see on the video,however I could see how you take the Vmax ,Vd and also the Vf to the absolute limit of it self.I can only try to imaginate how hard it must be to keep the plane unser control while the whole dehidral parameters are changing so rapidly.This video almost counteracts nearly everything that I learned on POF and Performance about aircraft aerodynamics ,the more you know about aerodynamic laws the more this video seems to be absolutely insane :-) One is for sure ,this is an epic provement about what this plane is able to takes ,but also about your piloting skills! Do you have made the whole video with one single lipo ? Before I forget,Wish you a nice new year!

@@AndrejSturm the swash tilts heavy left at about 40% throttle when I try to take off (dynamic Tilt) but with the xk controller same settings it doesn't i thought it may be a bug thanks bro i have been to heli freak rc groups ,bangood and no one knows

I can't believe how much flight time you get out of 2600mAh. I have the FlyFly 2.5m with built up wing and fiberglass fuselage and on a 4S 2600mAh I only run for 3:30 of motor on time and land around 3.7v/cell. I know I could go a little longer safely but not much more than 4 min of motor on.
I just got the FMS ASW-17, only 3 flights so far but seems pretty good as well. Seems like it would be well suited to your style of flying as it is not a thermal chaser and has a decent roll rate for 2.5m span.
What do you have your flap 1 and flap 2 modes do to the wing?

The Phoenix 2400 has better gliding characteristics - better thermal glider. The ASW28 is a little more agile.
