Arlene! Wow! Your submission videos are incredible(as per usual). Thank for sharing your mixed media tidbits. Can't wait to try out some of your techniques. Thanks for your Graphic45 support! Happy Papercrafting!
Gorgeous project. I also like how you use a combination of relaxing music with voice over and speeded up. It is a perfect blend for a tutorial, in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of this type of mix media but I really love this box. You picked the color palette that I was hoping for. I love that glimmer and shine the Lindy's gives.
Hi Jackie, the company name is Imaginarium Designs. :-) This project will also be featured on the Graphic 45 blog soon and the full product list for this project will be included. Thanks so much for watching! xoxo
I've watched this video more than once!! Love your work; your process, presentation style and of course your wonderful creative talent! Your video helped me so much when I first began these kinds of projects! I discovered Gesso because of you & eventually learned chipboard and some wood die cuts need it too to absorb color-inks, paint, embellishments--everything. Thank you for sharing your lovely work so graciously and professionally- Last point: The time lapse videos w/out someone constantly talking, laughing, looking for supplies or even focusing in on their dog for nearly 5 mins to do a trick drives me nuts. Maybe it's my issue but time is valuable & I want to make the best use of the little I have! You are on my playlist of all time favs-timeless-thank you again
This is absolutely beautiful work. You make it look so easy, and I think your voice is so kind and gentle that for a person like me, it is so easy to understand what you are doing. I am going to attempt something like this using your tutorial. I am doing a different type of layout, but with the same techniques. Thank you so much for posting this. I just love it. I think you have to be somewhat artistic also, but for me the desire to do it is there. I am not artistic at all, but I love creating things I see with the help of a tutorial like yours.
I have to laugh remembering the first time I ever saw you covering everything with gesso and how horrified I was. Then when you had finished and it looked so fantastic, I wanted to gesso everything myself. 😂😂
WOW!!!!!!! That's all I can say!!!! This is so pretty!!! I am getting ready to make a shadow box for my Mother in Law and Sister in Law for Christmas. My Father in Law passed away in September 2014 So I want it to be pretty for them. I have never made one before. I have praying hands and a few things from the hospital and funnel home to use But you have giving me some good ideas, Wish me luck...Thank you for sharing!!!
Where can I get the shadow box? I can't find one the slides out & a wide frame like that. Please let me know. I want to make it for my grandson's wedding anniversary. Thanks
I loved watching this fab vid, I've never tried mixed media - you make it look so easy... And your metal embellishments are stunning! Going over to pt2, Tfs big hugs Shilpa xxx
Can I use a standard shadow box frame and do the same? Got several of them in white from Joanns- seems like a plastic frame (same width as yours) with glass...love this.. Thank you for sharing such fabulous tutorials!
Stunning! What Gorgeous work! You are sooo talented! It is truly breath taking =) This tutorial is so well done, the speed of it was not too fast ~ I really appreciate that! Love your voice too =) TFS Christine
Absolutely beautiful !!! Thank you for sharing your unique ideas. Are you using all paper lace or fabric lace? . It looked like you used paper along the sides but what about the bottom?
Hi, I absolutely love your work, it is beautiful. I have a couple of questions, What do you recommend in place of the glue you are using now for the metals? The odor is giving me migraines but I don't know what else to use?? Also, I'm getting ready to order my 1st batch of Starburst Sprays from Lindy's and my max is 5 colors for this order. What colors do you use most for your projects?? Thank you and I look forward to the next tutorial! I have learned so much!
Stunning! When you were explaining about using hot glue to hold the metallic pieces in place, what was the name of the other glue in the tube you were using? I couldn't quite catch what you said xx Gorgeous
