穏やかなようでどこか不穏で、神々しい感じが好き
もうこれ6年前なのか…今さっき進撃を1話から見直して見終わったとこなんだけど、結局このエンディングが1番好きなんよね。この声や音程、リズム、雰囲気が落ち着く。
僕も1話から見直してつい最近終わったよ、やっぱり繋げてみるとめちゃくちゃゾワッて来るし感動する、

ゆったりとした雰囲気の中「ごめんね、諦めよう、やっぱりこの世界は残酷なんだよ」って言われてるような、そんな気持ちになる。
メロディ自体は美しいのにどこか不穏で歪んでいるのが堪らない。

I don't know if Japanese folk use the same music terms as the west, but I think it is the F# chord repeating throughout the song that gives the song an uneasy feeling. I think the progression is G, A, D, F# (someone correct me if it's the wrong semitone)
元々日本語詞だった物を急遽無理やりgoogle翻訳で英語詞に書き換えた結果、発音も相まって聞き取れない程めちゃくちゃな物になった。ただそれが更に不気味な雰囲気を演出し、評価された。

進撃観てて、この曲どタイプだけど誰が歌ってんねやろと思ったら神聖かまってちゃんでビックリした。なんていうか、叙事詩みたい。どこかの遺跡に行って現地の物に触れたらいきなりその地で起きた出来事が脳に流れ込んできて名前も知らない誰かの走馬灯を味わって悲しくないのにぼろぼろ泣いている、みたいな不思議な気持ちになる。すごく感動した。ありがとう。
日本人だから英語に聴こえるけど、海外の方がアクセントのせいで英語に聴こえないって言ってて、人ではないなにかが歌ってる感じがして興奮して巨人化できそう
not just the accents... the lyrics were translated oddly so they hardly make any sense. It make it sound so eerie!

ほんとこの曲といい僕の戦争といい、進撃の巨人の世界観にすごく合ってるよね。

I can’t even bring myself to accept that attack on titan ended a few hours hours ago. I practically grew up with it and aot made a big impact on my childhood. I can almost remember when my mom would scold me for watching it… how could I forget so easily such a great show? Thank you so much to everyone who worked on SNK.

My moment similar to your was an anime call Gatchaman. And mom used to yell at me for watching such violent content. We all have an anime that “marks” us, with its story, music etc. I held on tightly to my memories of Gotchaman. At my current age, I was able to fully enjoy AOT, its themes political and spiritual, it was quite a journey over 10 years.
Also grew up with it and for some reason every season was released when the lead characters where my age. You get like the same understanding of the world as they would from their age limit which is very intresting to watch it through.
I watched the series for the first time (because the series just ended) since dismissing it as a lame show about giants when I was a kid. AND MAN WAS I WRONG, I envy you fans that grew up with the show and every episode was a nail biter. Along with seasons that took years to drop man I wish I could’ve experienced that as well
