- Austrian Trip Report from Vienna to Amsterdam onboard one of their Embraer E195 on, what I personally think, is the best economy class in Europe.
An amazing flight from Vienna to Amsterdam Schiphol airport on an Austrian Embraer E195. The comfort of the 2-2 seat configuration, the perfect hot breakfast and the stunning sunrise that we had during all the flight made this one of the best flights I've ever had.

En verdad que es un privilegio ver un amanecer así y de paso desayunar así no tiene precio. Muy rico el desayuno pero las vistas son espectaculares.
Recuerdo ese vuelo como uno de los mejores que he hecho nunca. Fue un vuelo comodísimo y muy fácil de grabar. Además, el servicio a bordo fue, como siempre en Austrian, de 10. A eso, le añadimos unas vistas de amanecer que, al ir volando hacia al Oeste, es decir, "escapando" del Sol, duraron casi 1 hora (cuando lo habitual es que no dure más unos 15-20 minutos)... Y todo eso aderezado con un desayuno mejor que lo que te pueden poner en muchos bares y restaurantes de la calle... Pues tenemos un vuelo perfecto, como bien dice el título.

@@OnBoardHD pues luego de ver tantos vídeos de tu canal debo decir que ese desayuno es de lo mejor que han servido. También resulta agradable cuando el vuelo no va lleno y eso te da una comodidad adicional que es muy buena. Pero la vista fue lo máximo. Yo pienso que no pasará mucho tiempo para que las empresas comiencen a reactivar sus operaciones. Que tengas un buen día, saludos y espero pronto se ajuste esta cuarentena para mejor.
@@pasticho79 Ojalá pronto volvamos a volar. La verdad es que se echa mucho en falta. No obstante, la realidad es que antes de ello hay que tener todo estoy muy controlado para no estar en la misma situación un par de meses después de volver a volar.

Siempre que subes un video de Austrian me entran ganas de volar con ellos, aun no he tenido ocasión de hacerlo y todo el mundo habla maravillas de la aerolínea. Gran video como de costumbre!! 👌👌
Sinceramente, creo que es de las aerolíneas con un mejor standard en Europa en economy class. Lo del desayuno, por ejemplo, aunque sea de pago... es algo que no ofrece ninguna aerolínea y marca muchísimo la diferencia. :)

Yeah... it used to be that amazing every flight with Austrian. Not any more. They cancelled that service from the 1st of January 2021.

Actually, in my opinion, is better than the one they give you in Business class haha I've seen some business class reports and the pre-ordered breakfast looks a lot better than the business one! :)

Another fantastic video!Gracias hombre! The E-jets are, for me, one of the best regional jets i've flown! I also flew SKG-VIE with the E-195 and i loved it..Spacious, clean, engines roaring like a big jet..It's a lean beautiful little big jet...Now if u can only try the E2-190/195 of Binter or Wideroe..I flew the E2-190 in Feb. MUC-BGO-MUC with Wideroe...The huge engines make it look really impressive! (Wideroe's seat-pitch is tight though but bearable for a short flight. Binter has much more comfy configuration!)..Estare esperando a tu proximo video..Saludos cordiales desde Grecia en cuarantena!

@@plutoamor Jaja Lo cierto es que si ves que estoy a las 5:23 con el control de equipajes ya pasado, significa que llegué al aeropuerto a las 5:00 como máximo. Llego desde Bratislava en bus, ergo lo cogí el bus a las 4:15 como mínimo, es decir, que salí de casa a las 3:45, ergo me levanté a las 3AM aprox. Qué tal suena ahora? :DD

While "perfect" is a pretty strong word, that was a pleasant flight. I've noted on other videos that pre-ordered food isn't always that great, but you had an excellent breakfast. The legroom wasn't extraordinary, but it was better than on many other economy flights. This checked all the boxes.
For me, this was a perfect flight. The pre-ordered food in Austrian is always top quality. The best one I've seen in any airline, to be honest. Far better than the food that some airlines offer in business class.
What is for you an "extraordinary legroom"?

I really think that their economy class product is one of the best in Europe. The service is really nice and the pre-ordered food is better than in many bars and restaurants in downtown. :)

With each flight that I make with Austrian Airlines, I think more and more that they have one of the best economy class (if not the TOP 1) among the European airlines. The cabin is really nice and comfortable, the cabin crew is always welcoming, the service is nice, the classic music that they have on the PA while boarding is just amazing... and on top of that, the pre-ordered food service is, without any doubt, the best in Europe.
@@OnBoardHD I never had pre-ordered food with Austrian, but I agree on the rest, very solid product (cabin crew are really kind and helpful).

Could you please make another one of those airports, but including all escalators from getting on till getting of and the turns right before and after?
That way I'll be able to find my way easier (floors/levels and walk directions/bearings), if I ever travel by air to and from these airports.

In Vienna you just have 1 escalators if you enter through the arrivals area, if not, you don't have any.

Amsterdam airport is one of my favourites. You can see several nice airlines and there are huge windows to see them perfectly. OF course, the airport terrace is just perfect :)

That breakfast was really out of this world! That's serious business class quality. Did you have to pay extra for it when you preordered it? If yes, how much was it?

OnBoardHD, overall, an excellent video, and I agree with Gowtriks - the breakfast looked incredible, especially for Economy standards. Now, if only Austrian would add a few more inches/centimeters of legroom and better and fewer seats in their business cabin - say 38"/96cm and at least 33"/ 84m in the rear cabin - they could seriously give Turkish Airlines a run for their money.
Perhaps COVID XIX will force an industry change to most carriers policy of packing flying consumes in like sardines, mvbo31, RN, MSN/MPH.

I've never flown on the Turkish Airlines single-aisle plane, so I can't compare them. I just have flown twice on their A330.
Or, it could work exactly the opposite way and charge more but for a better service... I think that legacy airlines already understood that they can't compete against real low-cost with "fake low-cost airlines" like Eurowings or LEVEL, for example.
Let's see.. what it's sure is that COVID will change aviation for the next years. Hopefully to something better to the everybody :)

Le echaré un vistazo, pero espero que entiendas que no visito ningún otro canal de aviación en TH-cam. Con este canal que me consume muchas horas al día, más mi propio trabajo en la aviación, tengo aviación suficiente y cuando entro a TH-cam como espectador no quiero saber nada más de aviación.

No lol. I've flown on the 170/175/190/195 and they're not even comparable to the 737. In my opinion they're the best narrow body jets
Actually, they are pretty different. Probably after some videos you'll start to feel the difference much more :)

Pues la verdad es que nunca he pensado sobre diferencias entre ambos aviones. Así a simple vista, diría que el CRJ es un avión más regional que el Embraer. El Embraer lo veo más como un A320/B737 más pequeño y que consume menos (no como el A318, por ejemplo).
La verdad es que no se la respuesta a la última pregunta, pero Bombardier, antes de vendérselo a Airbus (el que ahora es el A220) diseño el CS series (CS100 y CS300) que competía mucho más con el E190/195. Supongo que tendrá que ver con la capacidad que buscan las aerolíneas.

@@gerardorchardg Así es. Me tomé de descanso esta semana. Además, poner tantos vídeos por semana ha vuelto un poco loco a TH-cam y las reproducciones se redujeron sin motivo. Estos días sin vídeo han hecho que la cosa haya vuelto más o menos a la normalidad.
En una hora nuevo vídeo. El vídeo del sábado sí que es sagrado. No he fallado ningún sábado desde hace más de 4 años ya! jeje

En el caso que me comentas, seguramente se olvidaron de traerlo, nada más. La verdad es que yo siempre que he volado con Ryanair he tenido buenas experiencias, así que debió ser un error puntual.

The German announcer on the tape does not have an Austrian accent. Must be Lufthansa's. That breakfast is fattening. I think 20 EU for this breakfast. Wonder what they give to others.

The breakfast price was 10 €uro I think (max 15 euro).
@@OnBoardHD That's a good price. I order the Schnitzel. It was very good. With potato salad. I think it was 20 Euros. Worth it as the main meals are good but small.
