if you have a good computer emulate them, if you're fine pirating then pirate the OG pc ports and find patches to make them playable on modern machines. quit acting helpless lmao.
Most of the problems with the control keys occur because they use the latest version of GTA which was the mobile version, so some keys perform multiple actions or are simplified, for example jumping on a bike and honking at the same time, forklift forks only going to full up or full down positions, it makes sense in mobile devices where controls more are limited, but they were lazy and didnt fix those for DE...
We really need to stop giving these people money.. You wouldn't pay a contractor who half assembles a fence and then just stops.. So why would you pay for this mess?
I've got some random stuff I can add: 138 - This bug can also occur when taking the slowdown pills in Vice City, except in my case the camera just detached from Tommy and stared into nothingness. An easy fix when this bug occurs though: rapidly pause and unpause. The back room in Umberto's bar has weird texture alignment and distortion. Vice City's cops are completely busted in how they bust you. I know the OG had moments where they'd defy physics and slide 10 meters to nab you, but I've had a cop fly into the air to arrest me in a helicopter, while I was over water. I've also had a cop too far away to trigger a wanted level when I was "witnessed" robbing a bike. So he slid back a massive distance, threw me from the bike, and just... walked away. Helicopters in Vice City seem to have some half baked auto-rotation feature. Like it tries to match "Forward" with "Direction the camera faces". But this can desync, leaving you turning the camera to be behind the helicopter, and it spins itself so you're looking at the door instead. Police boats can 180 on a dime. Float over some in a helicopter with a wanted level and see the madness. The Radio has problems when you swap stations. Possibly stemming from the half-assed way they remove songs. I notice that a lot of the time if I cycle to my preferred station, it starts from a specific spot. And there's other moments when a presenters lines are broken. "Welcome to Station, where we play Genre." and immediately after "You're still on Station, blah blah". Because side missions trigger an auto save, taxis, cop cars, and fire trucks, are all portable save points. Brown Thunder in VC is the best way to make huge amounts of money, and get the achievement for a high media attention level. Two big problems I've seen: 1. Sometimes hostiles spawn inside buildings so you can't attack them. Flying away far enough sometimes fixes this, or causes them to (I assume) fall through non solid terrain and die. 2. Firing rockets while rotating the chopper will sometimes cause you to shoot yourself. I'm using a mouse and keyboard and the jerky motion is the only way I can steer and rotate horribly. The hovercraft training mission where you need to make a long jump gave me issues. Until I had the random thought... "What if vehicle air controls are still bound to the arrow keys?" And they are. I wasted quite a while going for gold when it turns out I just needed clairvoyance. Tattoo's float. When you get a chest tattoo, the poses CJ twists into in the chair can show this. Gangsters in San Andreas are weird. When trying to take over territories, sometimes the pathing will fail and they'll run away. Forever. San Andreas enemy accuracy is nightmarish. But even at hitman skill levels with a rifle, there seems to be a random miss factor bound to CJ. Some gang territory colors overlap on the map, making it look like you control a hood but actually don't. NPC vehicles in SA have an state of automated driving. This applies to most (if not all) vehicles when driving, and they only activate thinking when something triggers them. Like taking damage or witnessing a crime. Vehicles in this state break whenever they drive over/under a bridge road that crosses over another road, and average out the coordinates, meaning cars can randomly rotate 45 degrees and jump halfway into an overpass. What the hell happened to the tunnel entrance in the north-west corner of San Andreas.

Really great video Badinfos. Still i'm really dissapointed what Rockstar and Grove street did to the trilogy especially with definitive edition since this trilogy is the reason they start to get popular and now they just mocked the trilogy
GTA SA definitive edition had this stupidly fun glitch. Complete the firefight missions to be immune to fire damage, catch on fire and you can just pass by people making them catch on fire as well. you can even pass through car doors when you are on fire and instantly explode them.
The key aspect that keeps me from actually trying it out is the lack of the original atmospheres in SA and III. That's unforgivable and a deal breaker for me, since it will not give the same experience. They actually made III a bright game, I can't believe it.
For that change with the shoreside vale garage, that doesn't seem like a problem, that seems like an upgrade.. The original garage's middle door just never opened, so you had 2 slots, plus a slot for a third car that you'd have to cram in there. Having the middle door "sometimes" open is objectively better than it never opening at all..
very sad for grove street games that they messed up like that, either if its just sheer lazieness or ridicolous tight deadlines set from rockstargames for whatever reason. its just such a shame that Rockstar Games did not considered proper testing prior to release. Its those three games especially what made Rockstar Games a multi billion company after all... If Leslie Benzies would still be working at Rockstar Games he'd never let that happen.. Oh well, guess imma stick to my original San Andreas then... Hope GTA VI will turn out good, after letting down humanity basicly lol.

'texture' is the visible detail applied to a model. The 'collision' is the name of invisible walls that keep a player from passing through.
1:34 This is what actually should be called *skydiving*
You also cant use 2 fightingstyles anymore standart boxing/learnt style.
Never saw anyone mention that.
4:02 - I believe this is the 0,0,0 coordinate on the map, a telephone pole exists in the ground here on the regular version
Bro really loves roasting the definitive edition of the trilogy 😅
Lol ya think? 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
More like defective
@@IM_OFFICERSOLIDERIST10M-12.9M LOL defective good one lmao 🤣
Because it's actually the defective version ( even though i still play it lol )
It deserves to be roasted
The middle blue door at the garage at the Shoreside Vale safehouse opening is cursed
3:56 that's because in the previous version, there, was a significantly shorter cable post (which was just put more intentionally down in the terrain) to show that very spot is exactly THE MIDDLE of the map. ofc they replaced it with.... something else
I think more mods are needed for these games to be actually polished
Wish Junior would address the issues. He made some amazing mods for OG SA and the other classics in the Renderware engine. Since there are certain advantages on Unreal Engine, I hope he uses them and make even better mods to fix these sloppy demasters.
9:50 not only there are half the laps that were in the original, but also, there's 8 opponents instead of 12.
That red light is actually the centre of the map in the original there’s just a weird electric pole there halfway through the ground
4:01 ? That red blinking light was never in the OG version.
@@TheLatinoRedneckCowboyThey never said it was? They said there was an electric pole in the og
I love the first video so much one of my favorite videos on TH-cam ever I couldn’t wait for this one thank you!
6:46 This is a good change in my opinion. Anything to make the driving tests in San Fierro easier is a win for me.
Were it not for space bar also quiting the mission...
😂
Hi Badi. I Just came here to say thank you. I'm not very active recently and I dont have a time to watch your every video regullary but I want you to know that I am here resting while listening to your work. If there is any GTA topic, you and only one another GTA themed Channel in the world are the Best. Only two out of thousands. Thank you for all the enterteinment!!!
Hello badinfos,old viewer here.
would love if you revisit all the gtas and try to get it 100% again
sorry if it's a bad idea
Keep up the good work :)
he’s doing gta 3 DE next week
After watching this, i need to sadly say, i wont ever play the trilogy in my life if this is all we get. I would try the original tho if rockstar had not removed them.
They'll do it again in another 5-10 years. Whether or not they'll get it right next time is another matter.
if you have a good computer emulate them, if you're fine pirating then pirate the OG pc ports and find patches to make them playable on modern machines. quit acting helpless lmao.
you could try pcsx2 emulation. it's the most authentic way to play em on pc cuz even the og steam ports have their problems.
The originals came bundled with the definitive editions, is this not the case anymore? I still play them this way.
@@AnAverageGoblin yeah cause Pirating is such a easy and most importantly safe thing to do
115 would have caused sooo many theories and myths and legends videos if it was in the original game. I kinda like it
Most of the problems with the control keys occur because they use the latest version of GTA which was the mobile version, so some keys perform multiple actions or are simplified, for example jumping on a bike and honking at the same time, forklift forks only going to full up or full down positions, it makes sense in mobile devices where controls more are limited, but they were lazy and didnt fix those for DE...
The definitive edition was so great, it made me buy the PS2 and play it that way, since I couldn't be bothered by trying to run them on a new PC.
Wise choice

We really need to stop giving these people money.. You wouldn't pay a contractor who half assembles a fence and then just stops.. So why would you pay for this mess?
I've got some random stuff I can add:
138 - This bug can also occur when taking the slowdown pills in Vice City, except in my case the camera just detached from Tommy and stared into nothingness.
Two big problems I've seen:
What the hell happened to the tunnel entrance in the north-west corner of San Andreas.
please make a video about the fact that facebook/meta has publically announced the release of grand theft auto san andreas on Oculus quest 2 but it has never happened
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Defective Edition
9:51 and 10:20 these are what definitely bother me and are such awful mistakes. I think i have commented these on somewhere too
We got the bad ending. Imagine a universe where R* didn't go belly up and was still thriving and making dedicated and faithful sequels and new installments
New quality installments I should say
my main issue is sometimes out of the random blue the fps drops so low u crash into a wall
In that scene with the thermal goggles glitch in GTA SA, you should really add a possible seizer warning for those with epilepsy.
The middle door in the shoreside garage doesn’t open in the original
How did they manage to add in new bugs anyway?
by porting the MOBILE version of the games which were bad ports by themselves...instead of porting the pc version
@@madhunter6420 pc version were also broken too, so porting the ps2 version is a right choice
@@madhunter6420 yeah they really wasted their time porting the mobile version using fancy unreal Engine. In in fact it wasn't even made by rockstar, it was made by Grove Street games wtf
they are stupid devs 😤
Its incredible that the game is still this broken this long after launch.... Also, you forgot how you cant control your hover on the Hydra. You can only go hover or fly, no in between. Also the controls staying on the screen and no way to get rid of them
guys does the second nrg glitch work? Where you get an insane amount of speed when you wheelie and spam up (not when you just spam up), because without the motion blur is impossible to understand
katana zero music once again babyyyyyy
w vid as always bro
22:37 Didn't know you could grab opponents in SA, how do you do it?
It's the fight style you learn in Las Venturas gym.
I wish rockstar did not get rid of the classic games on steam
Really great video Badinfos. Still i'm really dissapointed what Rockstar and Grove street did to the trilogy especially with definitive edition since this trilogy is the reason they start to get popular and now they just mocked the trilogy
GTA SA definitive edition had this stupidly fun glitch. Complete the firefight missions to be immune to fire damage, catch on fire and you can just pass by people making them catch on fire as well. you can even pass through car doors when you are on fire and instantly explode them.
1:10 Holy sh*t i can imagine myself playing normally gta 3 and screaming or jumping of my sit of the impression of that deathtrap
The key aspect that keeps me from actually trying it out is the lack of the original atmospheres in SA and III. That's unforgivable and a deal breaker for me, since it will not give the same experience. They actually made III a bright game, I can't believe it.
Man it really does get worse 😢
What's the name of the sound effect at 0:02?
Foghorn Sound Effect
@@MellowYe77ow thanks!
Spongebob stinky sound effect(i think
Rockstar leeds should have handled these remasters. That division added new great concepts like empire building in VCS and Drug trading in CTW.
4:38 to be fair the windmill is in the "off" position and shouldn't be spinning really
22:38 wasn't that move instant kill in original or he have more health in the boxing challenge
very sad for grove street games that they messed up like that, either if its just sheer lazieness or ridicolous tight deadlines set from rockstargames for whatever reason. its just such a shame that Rockstar Games did not considered proper testing prior to release. Its those three games especially what made Rockstar Games a multi billion company after all... If Leslie Benzies would still be working at Rockstar Games he'd never let that happen.. Oh well, guess imma stick to my original San Andreas then... Hope GTA VI will turn out good, after letting down humanity basicly lol.
i remember that hidden caddy in vice city when i was a kid, i never said anything because i thought alot of people accidentally found it.
can you use noclip mod , idk if there noclip mod in gta definitive edition or not , if there , try to enter 0:34
Makes you wonder if they ever will go back and fix all these mistakes or just take it as a lost cause. personally those of us who bought this game should be refunded.
The one where Claude keeps the flamethrower straight when you look up sounds like a good thing. How many things are in the air that Claude would need to burn
i like how mixtape is what a simmalar feature was called in saints row
In the console edition jizzy car getting destroyed automatically fails the mission because jizzy drowns
Definitive edition? More like defective edition!
"Nice rhymes mane"
The purple pink blob is an indoor theme park at the casino circus circus its got a rollercoaster inside
Man, you have to secure a job a Rockstar Games for game testing! The amount of your detailed examination is mind-blowing!
"most pc players dont have a controller" that was so out of place and just entirely wrong lol. Why did you pick that specific sentence? many people have controllers
He just nitpicking at this point lol
Is the definitive edition still bad? Have they fixed anything with patches or updates? I’m thinking about buying it for Vice City, I have the Xbox 360 version of San Andreas.
I’m still astounded at how they butchered these 3 games and had the absolute nerve to call them “Definitive”.
One of the R* devs just needs to make a checklist of all the faults found in your videos and just spend some time fixing each thing then release a final patch.
they don't care nor should they need to do this in the first place if they cared
R* has nothing to do with the remasters. The Definitive editions was made by Groove Street Games and R* only published them.
@@laszlozsurka8991you’re only partially correct, rockstar themselves were the ones doing the patches after release at least for some of the major updates
1:40 #106 sadly happens quite often in real life as well
Great video. 💪 Amazing work once again, Badinfos! Gosh, i love your content so much!
4:00 its not a light its a very glowing and huge particle
21:05 every tunable car, because the cars have 2 colors usually, and when the color is changed with tuning parts that have that color2 property, they will not change no matter what, if you park the a body tuned car in a garage or in a paint spray, you will see that the color2 doesn-t change but only the color1, for example you will have a black sultan with constantly red body, horrible :/
14:21 is this in the original really?? But isn't it only supposed to give you the ability for small bunnyhops and unlilited nitro, not this?
It's in the OG yes, big taxi boosts need to be executed in a specific way. I made a guide on how to do it, here is the playlist. The video you want is #10 (Lesson #5) th-cam.com/play/PLWcP0v_ML3CvXD3sBRNO9w-FgaFv0oj30.html
@@Badinfos wow it sucks that I tried to follow the "simple" instructions on how to download rainbowmizer for san andreas and accidentally deleted the ability to use a mouse and the game became unplayable and I tried to fix it but I couldn't
I wish I had the original still...
3:55
I think that this red light replaced a easter egg that has been there in the original version.
I think it is the absolute center of the map.
You must have played samp right?
@@ghazik3656 No i've never played that.
It seems to me like one of those lights that are present at the airports probably set to the 0,0,0 coordinate by mistake.
Most stupid thing is Gta Sa Supposed to look like Gta V , they should have ported all assets into the Rage Engine Ps2 weather system on the Top would be great too .
Try using every problem u mentioned in shorts with a face cam it will be a good idea
Damn, I gotta admit I was a definitive edition defender, but now not so much
You mean to tell me I can no longer collect my impounded customized vehicle from the Fierro inpound lot? That's wack like crack.
Grand Theft Auto 3 Took 1 Year to make, Vice City also took same time, San Andreas took 2 Years to make, Meanwhile Definitive Edition took only 2 Years ie these games were made in complete hurry and due to this hurry the did not master each game and just ported the whole game by ai upscaled textures, gtav assets, meshes smoothed in blender, taking few bits of source code present in mods, with plugin imported assets in unreal by rage - renderware tool, and called it a day.
I'm happy to own the originals I don't need none of this Definitive trash
Hearing all this makes me think that the testing and QA budget was kept to an extreme minimum for this game.
the red light represents teh middle of the map
I swear to god, Modders in Original GTA did the real Definitive Edition..
