However, with the rise of internet connected devices, data professionals should expect to be working with 5-10X more data within the next 4-5 years. If your existing systems struggle with your existing workloads, what would happen if you if you multiplied your data by 5 or even 10?
In this session, we will be taking a look at Microsoft’s new scalable data warehouse in Azure. We’ll build one (really easy) and then talk about what sets it apart from your on-premises data warehouse.

Nice Work. One question. How would you connect to your company on premise database from Azure? VPN access needed I would guess is it?
Hey Gayan, that is a very broad question and it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you are trying to move data from your on-prem environment to Azure through Data Factory or Synapse pipelines then you can just use the self-hosted integration runtime. Thanks.
