Advances in Hyperconvergence with SCALE and other virtual vendors that utilize clusters of servers that talk directly to the storage, and don't need SANS has slowed some of this movement to the off premises cloud computing. They have done this at a reasonable cost and made it work for administrators to make it possible to run an on premises Virtual with high availability, fault tolerance and DR strategies that work well. Multiple pieces of bandwidth, jumbo frame switches and Mother in Law servers are no longer necessary. tiered storage, de-duplication, snapshots and spinning up warm standby's can be done by the regular onsite admin.
Thank you for your video, very useful
great presentation
well done and thank you!
