Its amazing how the animations works so well at 60fps in this game. This game is so good coded. All the game's logic is unbinded from the framerate. At the time, that was no common thing.
Really awesome gameplay video here. I happen to remember reading about this a while ago, some of the walls appear to have a brighter wall texture than the other walls surrounding it. This brighter wall texture is actually an older texture that the walls originally had, and all the walls can be seen in an early prerelease video of Goldeneye 64, and yet the old texture can STILL be found in this level!!!

We didn't mind 30 fps but less than 15 is questionable. And you realize this game and other N64 games are playable on PC with an emulater (I know it was only released for the N64). This Goldeneye game was the best one they made, and the fact that that company disappeared and never made another one is what sucks the most :(

Technically this game will never be 60FPS constant, as even with 60FPS this game was designed for N64 hardware, meaning that frame pacing is an issue and causes stuttering. A similar issue usually happens with PS2 games, but it can even happen with old PC games released around the PSX. GameCube and Xbox Original games don’t have this issue most of the time

to get Goldeneye 007 60fps + Mouse and Keyboard, look on google for goldeneyevault, and I believe on the forum or somewhere you can find the latest release for the setup and emulator. The only thing you need to do is find the ROM and learn how to start the program and activate the mouse and configure the sens\accel settings etc. But I remember earlier this year, I went to look all over for it and found out that it was still being updated and released with new versions on that website. So it is either in the forums (which I remember), or in the downloads area.
Gameplay > Graphics, the only thing missing is online and mod\map support. It would be awesome to make a party of like 4, and play through the campaign or play new maps. FML, this game could have been something if they didn't only release it on the stupid N64 :(
It was something. Infact it was one of the biggest sellers of the time. It practically sold the n64. I used to have Goldeneye evenings with mates purely to play Goldeneye. Epic game for its time. Still great fun for nostalgia today. Specially with the ultr HDMI mod. Though emulators probably best for most people

Yes I did Josh, I specifically remember that the slowdowns to 10fps bothered me when I was used to 30fps on pc.

Classic, I man I used to play this game all day everyday when I was in High School. This is easily one of my all time favorite games.
