Can someone explain why they cut hair before coloring? I understand not wanting to waste color by color sections that will be cut off, but I know color can also cause damage and dryness in the ends of the hair. Does it make sense to color hair first, if it isn’t going through a dramatic length change, and then cut it, post color? That way, the hairstylist can see how the color falls with the cut and also trim off any ends that may have started the damaging process during the earlier coloring process? Is the order stylist preference or is it always done this way?
Ohhh the blue looked amazing on her and so does the red now.
