I, for one, think Erudi is not bad, he's just drawn that way. Seriously, though, I haven't played D&D, but I have watched some campaigns, and Erudi is, to my mind (as an audience member), a very well balanced DM, managing to both keep things on track and let things flow into the wild side, without veering too far into either, which makes for a fun and satisfying experience. I would love to be a DM, but I would need to play in a campaign first. My reason is due to homebrew. As someone whose interested and has a degree in game design DMing sounds fun.
Can we get like a bigger view on the map? Like there's a lot of wasted space on the screen and oftentimes the livestream view of the map is either out of focus or doesn't show the part where the rest of the combat's happening.
People seem confused about the role and intentions of a dungeon master. Your DM is not trying to kill you. He or she is trying to psychologically break every single member of the party by torturing you, which requires the credible threat of death to be on the table at all times. It's a means to an end, not the goal in itself.
I wonder, are the resurrection scrolls the party used in Advanced GG season one actually a thing in DnD lore, or was that just Erudis way of giving them plot armor?
Obviously quite a late reply since I am just now going through the series though I think you may be a bit off. A DM is supposed to give whatever emotion is needed at that moment in the game, its more of a balanced. The "to mentally torture your players" is just a justification for the DM to play against the players. Just because it is the opposite of what the SJWs do doesn't mean its good
I DM'd a game once. My party was prone to getting off topic during sessions. So, one day, I through an over powerd badger at them. Nearly wiped the party out and wasted a ton of their resources and gave them no XP. Never went off topic again. You can use this idea, if you want, Erudi.
I don't mind them going mindless automaton, like Adam Sandler in Click when he's skipping time, still giving basic contribution like attacking or healing, but active RP not so much.
Well, it's more like chat wants to tpk the party. My guess is the chat wants more cast member positions to open up so they can promote their own channels.
That's what is actually fun in those games. No danger is boring. And not to mention that reactions from Mike are awesome, because he knows what is going on.
@@Wlof25 but why play a TTRPG at that point. Go play Dark Souls. A DM is supposed to be balanced never leaning too heavy one way or the other. Some moments may need to be heavier like big boss battles, but killing small animals and grunts making a TPK a possibility every session becomes a player vs DM moment which is just as bad as a DM who let's the players control games with X Cards

SJWs are known to be dumb as a brick. Yet that was a wild experience Rekeita went through judging by the pre-game convo.
The other person's intelligence only matters if they're arguing in good faith. SJWs are not.

I was a DM for a while. And I was not evil. The goal is to create a fun, but challenging experience for the players. Otherwise, what's the point>?

Winifred or Wynne, though I’ve seen Winfred used as a woman’s name so it’s become more unisex.
