I have stayed at the Edgewater over thirty times. The staff and employees are really friendly and down to earth. Can't beat the view from the 26th floor. Right on the river. They even have a small ramp so people can go in the river. My color is blue as is their theme. Stockman's is their latest steakhouse in a line. It used to be the Hickory Pit and it was outstanding. They had $20 prime rib specials on Monday. I have stayed in many luxury hotels over the years but I always come back to the Edgewater. I hope the new owners (Golden Entertainment) keep up the good standard. I come here on my college breaks but avoid the holidays. Thank you for your fine narrated video. You like the clear water of the river like I do. Please be well!
The Bingo hall years ago was the buffet, and before that, they had a bowling center. Used to go with my parents several times each year, starting in the mid to late 1980's--at least the first time we stayed there, the big tower next to the pool was still under construction.
I stayed at the Egdewater 20 years ago. Back then it was owned by Circus Circus. Who knows now. The main thing I remember about my trip was in all but one casino in Laughlin smelled heavily of old cigarette smoke. It was like the tar from decades of smokers permeated the walls. I also remember the casinos had really loose and low limit table games compared to Las Vegas. They had 10x odds quarter ($0.25) craps tables and $2 blackjack. I played nickel bar-top blackjack for drinks. It was like Slots-O-Fun 20 years ago without the hookers out front.
