Hi Jade. Yes, Si finds and Tideline Art are two great channels. They have some amazing adventures! They go all sorts of places and have all sorts of mud-buddies who go out larking together. If you watch all their video’s you’ll be busy for ages! I’d love to do mudlarking myself but 1)I’m a bit old, 2) the Melbourne Yarra not ancient like the Thames. It’s banks are generally steep and/or paved or concreted so not much good for larking and 3) I’d never be able to get to places like they do. I really am just as happy watching them do it and thank my lucky stars that they are nice enough and clever enough to share it all so happily. Loved this episode of Si and Nicola mudlarking under a full moon with their Santa Hats! So many cool finds, Nic's demonstrating her amazing athletic abilities on the beam, a fascinating history lesson from a button, and Nic's top five finds of the year! My first thought about those bottles was maybe made from old skateboards or some sort of hemp/biodegradable plastic. When you checked the material they were made with it almost looked like the composite layered wood like a skateboard deck

I'm sitting happily in my mostly empty house watching you two. Little story, the roommate asked if she could park in the driveway to load her car. I thought it was a great idea and went out and we changed parking places. I walked around to the passenger side of the car and found a little shard of some kind of painted ceramic. If I were healthier maybe I'd lark around my neighborhood. I don't exactly live in a big city like London, but I do live in the 11th largest city in the U.S.

Yet another wonderful video from you (both), my favourite mudlarkers! So many great finds too. Those bottles….I thought at first that it was a small family who’d made them, two being “sophisticated” and the third, juvenile style. Then there were heaps and I thought, ah, a school class project. Then you told us about Anon. That changed everything. Sounds a bit like our Bankside from Melbourne 🦘. I never tire of the Fred Jury story, nor the onion bottle. But that dog is certainly NOT lovable, but it is interesting. Nicola certainly had a chore displaying ALL her finds! I’ve never seen her studio looking so “busy”! Merry Christmas to you both and all your followers from Downunder. Let’s hope 2022 is safer, freer and more exciting than this year just passed. ❤️🥰🦘
