No need to remove the paint. Just remove the shine on it with a very fine sand paper 1200+... the new paint will stick fine. No need for primer either.
@@mat.b.don't stress it. I'm painting mine for the paint chipping around the headband..if the paints chipping under... what's the paint on top holding to?
Is there a reason you used primer, then satin paint/primer, then gloss clear coat? Why primer before paint-primer combo? Why gloss coat on top of satin paint instead of gloss paint?
dms3, please haaalp, i got hd650s and they are super uncomfortable the left ear cup squeaks and cracks all the time and it feels defected even though the headphones sound fine...
Reminds me of how zeos painted his hd600s yellow and put his logo in the side
zeos is a living meme
ChacePlayz god Zeo's hd600's are ugly.
The logo on the side looks cool tho, imagine a nice white simple logo

When I did a paint-primer combo alone it wouldn’t stick as well & without an additional gloss coat it would scratch off easily.
did you sand the grils of the earpieces?
yes i did.
how is the paint holding up after years?
Can I use acrylic paint
Enamel/oil based paints would probably be best
Is not just better to vinyl wrap them
(I'm planning to do that in my earbuds lol)
great video, exactly what i was looking for
good tips for painting! The lighting in your last 2 videos have been kinda dark though.
Yea. One of my lights died. Working on a solution. Next release should be slightly better
