‘The Lighthouse’ Left Robert Pattinson Wanting to Go Clubbing

- Working on Robert Eggers’ slow-boiling horror film “The Lighthouse” left Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson in two very different states of mind. The actors told TheWrap at the Toronto Film Festival that while Dafoe was able to easily slip in and out of the role, Pattinson soon found himself as pent-up as his character.

God this movie was incredible. Such a relief that it lived up above and beyond my expectations.
I live in Yarmouth where this was filmed. I also live three houses up from where the production crew and Robert Pattenson stayed. I saw him a few times on Saturday nights going to our local pool hall, Dooly's. He would often go out to eat first at Marco's. A small restaurant in the north end of town. He was a very quiet person and loved to go for walks around the neighborhood too. You'd never have recognized either of them.

If you haven't seen the film yet, it is a completely insane experience. It is funny while also being intense and emotional and most of all, at times, truly horrifying. There are moments that will haunt me for a while, and parts of the film were actually scarier than other contemporary horrors (especially by A24) - if you've seen it then you probably know the moment I'm talking about
When Pattinson finally sees the light near the end sheesh that image is printed into my memory

@Beatrice Verhoeven ur dad made a great movie by th way.
Just recently watched the original movie and it was sooo intense. You can find it by typing in The Lighthouse full movie, it's on a channel called For U but it won't come up if you use the channel name. This should be a good one too but I think they veer off track somewhat comparatively speaking but this should be another very intense movie.
