Zoomlin wafers is usually just +2 turns for free if you’ve got a turn to spare. It is pretty good and can make most decks a little better. It is fun to play all the free cards in a row though.
Base line zoomlin wafers is indeed slighly beneficial. However when invested in specifically card draws, eg needle; sneezle; draw cards, as well as inhand damaging cards, like hongos hammer, protostomper, berryblade, and even pinkberry juice, you will significantly gain value by having a single turn to play like 10’ish cards for two turns is actually game changing. Edit, personnaly had a run with tinkerson jr. where I made mad junk and once gotten the wafers got to do 8 times 12 dmg junks
Toaster seems great with infinity sun bell and recalling once you are down to just snowzooka for permanent snow. Even without infinity bell, you can guarantee snowzooka every bell cycle anyways
So for that combo, it’s something like this: Fizzle does 0 (2 bom) Mega M does 5+2=7 Bombarder does 0+2=2 Mega M does 7 again So that’s 7+2+7=16 Then fizzle hits for 2 and 2 bom MM does 9 now Bombarder does 4 MM another 9 For 40 new total Final round fizzle hits 4 and 2 bom MM doing 11 Bombarder doing 6 MM another 11 So it totals tooo… 40+13+17=40+30=70 damage That’s a bit huh… Oops you already calculated it my B
It's 72 total, the 3rd hit is 4 from Fizzle, 22 from Mega Mimic and 6 from Bombarder, for a total of 40 + 32. You accidentally calculated Fizzle doing 2 damage on the 3rd hit. Also its a whole lot easier to just count the number of attacks per unit. 3 attacks from Fizzle doing (0 + 2 + 4) = 6, 3 attacks from Bombarder doing (2 + 4 + 6) = 12, and 6 attacks from Mega Mimic doing (6 * 5 + 2 (2 + 4 + 6)) = 54. The 6 * 5 is Mega Mimic's base damage, and 2 (2 + 4 + 6) is the damage from the bom that was applied.
Zoomlin Wafers are delicious though. A creamy vanilla filling between two peach-mint wafers with a smattering of cinnamon forming the diamond shape. Thy argument hath been rendered invalid.
If you have bom charm on mega mimik/mimik, and then have bombardier, do they infinitely attack? Does mimik apply bom, causing bombadier to attack the person who had bom just applied, causing mimik to attack since it saw the bombardier attack?
Noomlin Biscuit is good because it will give you 2 or 3 free plays over the course of a single battle. Zoomlin Biscuit is bad because it will give you 3 or 4 free plays in a single turn. Makes perfect sense lol
it does when it really matters what those 2-3 free plays are doing. pinkberry + scrap sword + scrap sword in one turn is a different world than 3x free pinkberries over 3 turns.
@@themadichib0d Early plays compound into the lategame, even if those individual plays aren't good. If those two scrap swords can take out an enemy before it has a chance to deal four damage, in a way that's like another pinkberry juice.
tbh you can redraw and play noomlin (which is usually gonna be your best card) every turn if you have a small deck, gets even better with two noomlins but on the other hand he has talked a lot about tempo being really important in wildfrost, and zoomlin boosts that a lot just . you also need to be fairly confident the tempo wont be used on redrawing turn one because you really need to get to your important cards as fast as possible (either because your deck is too big or because you NEED one of them right away to not just get killed)
i am really surprised at how many people do not understand what i'm saying, great for the analytics though i gotta say. the problem with speaking in all these hypotheticals as people like to is that you can craft whatever situation you want to fit your narrative. how often is two scrappy swords killing an enemy after zoomlin wafers, and how important are the rest of the cards you're playing to justify not just spending 2 turns on scrappy swords? this isnt even the core of my point though, the core of why i dont like this card is because you're giving something up to play it, it's not like we're drafting for free, imagine in this run i have zoomlin wafers instead of blundertank, how does that bigloo fight look?
@@Voyix Using the exact same draw order of the bigloo fight, you DEMOLISH that fight Turn 1: Zoomlin biscuit Turn 2: Play snoffel, mega mimik, junkhead. I'm not saying that Zoomlin Biscuit is the fucking best card in the game, but it's stronger than a lot of very decent cards, like Noomlin Biscuit. It's certainly stronger than a no-effect 2 HP Clunker. It essentially accelerates your gameplay by 2-3 turns.
yeah the double teeth charms were kinda scary, blundertank got to do something. at 2 scrap it is a pretty safe pick up, and one day it's gonna get to pop off in a dream scenario
I think Zoomlin wafers is really good on Shademancer runs, where you basically want to play all your cards as fast as possible. But yea, I think people overrate it a little bit.
It is either Sneezle or Spike, or Lil' Gazi and Snoof. Rest of the pets are not so good and either need some incredible luck, or good in certain situations
you can play booshu too, the healing is nice to have as an out for some fights going wrong. i think lil gazi isnt really all that worth since he's slow and doesnt really offer much damage early. the pets are mostly in consideration for surviving the first 2 fights since you can get screwed out of playable companions
If Zoomlin Wafers is the best item you're being offered; you're far enough ahead to not need Zoomlin Wafers. It's action economy is good but if your actions are shit you're still rushing out shit actions.
yeah if the other two cards in a draft are really worthless you can take zoomlin wafers and its fine. it also pairs well with bom barrel since that card turns every card in your hand into a nuke
