Probably one of my favourite pairs of memories of Scouts were when someone in my group thought it'd be fun to DUCT TAPE A CAN OF COKE as a prank on me... didn't work when they found out I hate Coke, so they left the can behind on a table... later, somebody else (I won't say who, to preserve their career) saw the can and then noticed the campfire we had since started up. He then strolled right on, grabbed the can, and......... threw it into the fire... We all backed up REALLY far, and after 45 of waiting, the can exploded with the same force and shrapnel of a grenade. We found the can, completely stripped of its two layers of duct tape and its label, nearby without its top. That top was over forty feet away, bent in half like a clamshell! Of course, to up the ante next year, we returned to the same campsite, and repeated the process! This time, though, the pyromaniac tiled the can so it would be like a rocket, and we put up picnic tables as blast shields (that last one was because our leaders reported feeling a log go flying BETWEEN THEIR HEADS the first time!). Twenty minutes later, the rocket lifted off with the same energetic boom as the last year. We found the can over fifty feet away in a spot where it had to have cleared thirty foot high trees to make it! The only problem was, the park rangers were celebrating the end of summer season with a big bonfire of their own about a half-mile away. when the can exploded, most of us swore we heard their music stop for a few seconds... after that, our leaders declared duct tape illegal at ALL CAMPS for the rest of eternity...
cans with pressurized content can be deadly. Friends co-worker was hit by shrapnel from exploding can of spray foam and it cut artery in his neck when he was alone. He died from blood loss.
I don't think they fixed the gun to the oven, which would result in a weaker shot. And I would have liked to see a test with multible rounds in the oven. One might break the first glass. But a proper idiot wouldn't stor just one round in there. 3-5 should be lethal allready.
Yeah, a more likely way to place a gun in an oven would be with the barrel towards the back. Hold it, put it in the oven like you would put it on a table.
Just have to say this. If you had a gun in the oven the only thing getting hit would possibly be your knee. The odds of that one bullet hitting your carotid artery is so low. If it was in a semi auto pistol all the other bullets in the magazine would probably go off before the one in the chamber because of materials and thickness. Kinda wish they tested that here tho. It would have been great to see

That got tested by a German TV show in the 80s. They took an elephant and walked it into a China shop and not a single thing was broken.
