    This is one of the most memorable scenes when JR says, "That's my son, tip to tail." Great to see Larry Hagman portray one of the most iconic characters in TV history one last time before his passing.

    God how I LOVE Sue Ellen/Linda Gray! She is magnificent. I love Josh Henderson and always will love JR and Sue Ellen. I just regret that we won't get to see him in scenes with Sue Ellen anymore. They were magic! Rest in peace Larry. Thanks for making the character of JR bigger than life!

    Sue Ellen is like, You go take care of that new bride of yours, it's not easy being a Ewing bride in this family. John Ross: Mama, what do you take me for? A scoundrel LMAO? Flat out hilarious.

    Grabs the bottle and saunters off... LIKE A BOSS!
    I love every single thing about Sue Ellen. Now that JR is gone she's most definitely my favorite character. It's not even close. Go make that money, Sue Ellen! You're the man now.

      Sue Ellen stood up to JR, and she could have easily ran the family. With all she learned from him.

    I hadn't watched the new Dallas; it hurt seeing Larry Hageman so frail; I hadn't seen images of him since the cancer had returned, may he rest in peace

    • @Godfather9814

      But even then he commanded the scenes he was in! Even a lot of the younger generation characters said they loved working with him cause he was so down to earth and loved his work. I’m pretty sure if he was alive for a bit longer the revival would’ve had a few more seasons instead of being canceled after only three seasons

    Really considering how things ended with the show, could just stop watching at season 2 and you have a pretty damn good ending.
    the feud is over and JR came out on top (from beyond the grave)

    If they had to rate characters, that have graced our screen (tv or silver screen), J.R would have to be right up there, from tip to tail. Larry Hagman plaaaayed the heart out of this role. Both him and Jim Davis, made Dallas. R.I.P

    I love that John Ross Jr. is ready to learn every dirty trick from his father. He is his father son and he is Ready to play dirty in order to get his Power back. When he is anger mode nothing stops him from getting his own goal.

      Official Filmilen, well he had a lot to be angry about. Ellen broke his heart, she and Christopher got together, she didn’t even have the balls to return his engagement ring, she had her mother do it. I lost major respect for Elena and Christopher after that.

    JR and John Ross standing in that office and their talk and the camera panning away you felt they were going to do some real damage and it would be fun to watch. Then Hagman dies and we got nothing. :(

    The irony is JR would have never talk to Jock like that-as how John Ross talks to JR. But John Ross IS worse than JR ..

    • @Godfather9814
      @Godfather9814 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think cause jock raised jr to be a cut throat businessman and to do what’s needed to get to the top but when it comes to family that always takes priority. But even though both jr and John Ross wanted to be successful jr worshipped his father and wanted to make him proud, and in many ways John Ross was the same but a lot of his actions he either did for jealousy, pettiness, anger and so on. That’s why quite a few times people needed to direct John Ross

    I laugh how these "reboots" figure bringing EVERYTHING up to date. "Ewing Energies" and" Ewing Global" should have still been EWING OIL. NO reason that company still couldnt have been viable even today. Yes, it was tossed around like a dirty napkin in the original series and i BELIEVE LeAnne Delevega owned it in the series finale but over the past 20 plus years Bobby and or JR could have gotten it back. Also, all the mexican cartell non sense was dry. If they would have went back to the first 7 or 8 seasons formula i believe this would still be on even now. Rediculous reboot that retconned TO many things. And yeah i get it Victoria Principal didnt want to be Pam but by now enough time had passed where i believe a RECAST would have been ok and that's who Bobby should have been with . "Anne Ewing" was as exciting as paint. Great actress boring written character. SO many missed opportunities !

    • @derekmathews1818
      @derekmathews1818 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Travis Grant, that’s the point. Our brillant producer had too many missed opportunities. I think the whole Ewing Energies idea was stupid. It didn’t make sense. Ewing Globsl didn’t make sense either. Of course it should have been Ewing Oil. But Cidre was too lazy too understand the original show to understand that.

    • @Godfather9814
      @Godfather9814 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I wasn’t a fan of the company names either but I guess it was the new generations way of showing respect to the past but focusing on the future, it’s kinda why the two films that tied up the original Dallas are more what how it should’ve ended as than the reboot. I enjoyed the reboot but JR Returns and war of the ewings are way better endings for everyone.
      Bobby finds new love
      Sue Ellen and Bobby run Ewing oil together as partners
      JR owns WestStar
      JR and Sue Ellen seem to be getting along again and seem to be getting back together again
      And Cliff seems to have put the feud aside and wants to rebuild his relationship with afton and his daughter Pam.
      Just seemed more of a respectable ending for everyone

    Indeed has emotional issues stemming back to his mother and housekeeper. Indeed tends to seek out to punish those who remind him of his mother. In his eyes, he was abused by the women in his life.
    There is absolutely no way that child is his, period.

    I havnt seen much of the new shows but Im sure they dont compare to the old ones. And Larry Hagman was born to play JR......lol No one could play that but him. What is it John Ross said in the new show? "Im not like my father Im worse"....? Oh give me a break someone comparing themselves to a legend. No one could do that sly grin at the end like Larry Hagman did with JR......lol

      Stupid comment given while Oil was the backbone of company it wasn't the only venture they were exploring anymore. You'll notice the company wasn't named Ewing Oil anymore it was Ewing Energies and later Ewing Global when they took over Barnes Global and merged them together. The company was moving past from being only an Oil company.
