Stanbury has so many microaggressions it’s insane. The way she grabbed Ayan and told her to speak to Juliet when Juliet didn’t speak to Ayan when Ayan was trying to walk away and defuse the situation really upset me!
There was something VERY disturbing about that moment: "First of all, say hello." Speaking to Ayan like she's her child.
In my opinion she crossed a line. You don’t just grab people like that. And I’m absolutely on ayan’s side. Why would she dress down just to make stanbury happy? She doesn’t need to kiss her arse 🤷♀️ she wore what she wanted and she respected the dress code. I just feel like stanbury deliberately decided on a white dress code, so she could start drama with someone. If she was honestly upset about Ayan turning it out, she needs to work on self confidence

I remember Ayan being hurt that she wasn’t invited to her bachelorette party and not understanding why, because she was just out with Stanbury a week before, prior to filming starting. I’m not sure if a producer or Stansbury decided that her having drama with Ayan would be good for the show however, it’s apparent that someone did think it was a good idea. Ayan was so upset and confused with Stansbury not inviting her to the bachelorette party when they where all together the week before filming with no issues. Also, Sergio was talking and laughing with Ayan and Lesa at Nina’s party and the next time we see him Sergio is talking crap about Ayan and Lesa. This was fake, phony drama and I hope Stansbury and Sergio get called out at the reunion for their behavior this season!

Stansbury grabbed Chanel by the shoulder and pushed Chanel. She also put her hands in Chanel's hair. Stansbury is more than condescending- but physically abusive. Interestingly where this type of behavior is addressed.

Eyi different families do things differently really....so not everything is that deep and must be done in a certain way...let us first appreciate that we are different people from different tribes before we judge based on how we do things in our own tribes.

Perhaps you’ve been through the same or you are doing the same…but that doesn’t excuse the none affection a child needs. Children who grow up that way tend to be over emotional or not emotional at all. There is usually NO middle to that. So while people may raise their children that way, it doesn’t mean it’s right, nor does it mean, especially when asked, that we shouldn’t voice our opinion.
Stansbury herself is a walking example.

I’m not gonna lie someone NEED to be told how to raise their children cause a lot people are BAD parents. To many people on this planet that have been traumatised by their parents all cause those parents wanna follow outdated traditions that don’t benefit the children and that are borderline abusive. If one of your friends have to tell you to be to be more affectionate to your child, instead of getting angry you need to take step back and analyse how your treating your child and fix that.
A lot of abused, emotionally or physically neglected children would LOVE to have an adult like Sarah who ready to be on there side rather then an adult who looks the other way because it’s seen as “disrespectful” to tell another parent how to raise their kid.

Exactly. Some time I asked am I been too hard or straight on my kids, or am I been too lenient? It's always good to get another opinion? I even ask my kids, we have conversations. What she said was out of love for her and her child. She's a single mother, n as parents there's no manual we learn everyday. Even our kids teach us at times. She should not ve taken it personal. We learn everyday from different cultures n pepo, n they learn from us all as well.

I am so passionate about communication. I’ve been on both sides…saying something & being quick to defend myself when someone calls me out on it because it hurt them & I couldn’t see it because I felt like my character was being attacked…& then being the person to share my feelings and being dismissed.
I’ve learned that it takes active listening to be able to understand one another when discussing feelings. All they’re trying to do is make you self aware of how what you said made them feel from their perspective..key word PERSPECTIVE! Doesn’t mean you’re wrong or intentionally tried to hurt them. They just want their feelings to be acknowledged & their voice to be heard. Nobody gets to tell someone how they should feel. Just acknowledge how your comments made them feel from their perspective, apologize, & reassure them you meant no harm. That’s it! People make this type of stuff so difficult that’s why relationships crumble! Smh it’s a learning moment everyday for us all

I think Sara should’ve just apologized. Despite what her intentions were, that’s not the point. The point is that Caroline’s feelings were hurt so just say you’re sorry. It’s a sensitive subject Sara should’ve understood that. Many people get defensive when you question how they raise their kids it’s normal.
But some people do need to be called out for their parenting. Just cause u gave birth to or conceived a kid don't mean u own them or u get to treat them like shit. They are human too. I will call out parents when I see some fuck shit. Just cause somethings "cultural" doesn't mean it's right

What Sara views as strictness or militant behavior- that’s providing structure and discipline for HER son. Based on our culture, she raising him to withstand outside factors. And the fact she kind of had to sugarcoat it bothered me, but she has to tell her story how she wants.

Nah Brooks was super awful at that dinner at her house to her male friend and honestly I agree with Sara. Why couldn’t she tuck her kid in instead of nanny lol? They wouldn’t have cared if she left the table for a couple of minutes to do so. I also agree with Sara about the boarding school thing too. Boarding school doesn’t mean the best education. You don’t have to go to boarding school away for the best education. He’s so young.

First of all, nothing is wrong with Brook's parenting. Problem is with you helicopter mums. Second, every type of school is bad for particular children. My brother did not enjoy or flourish in those schools that were not boarding school. I loved boarding school and flourished there more. My parents did not tuck me in bed. I love my parents, they are affectionate and I am affectionate and loving. Point is, you don't tell people what to do with their kids or criticize how they do parent. You don't know them or their kids and the needs, strengths or weaknesses of their kids. They know better than you a stranger. Best advice would have been supporting her decision and telling her to do what is best for her kid. Not making a decision for her and criticizing her initial decisions. Helicopter mums are too annoying and people like Sara with their toxic positivity crap.

You do realize when she told her son to go upset, she kissed him and said she loved him and that she would be coming upstairs later with him and sent the nanny to go with him for the time being… how is anything wrong that? Her friend even asked the kid does he think his mom crazy and he said no, then joked and said only like 20% … obviously her son feels love from his mother and isn’t complaining, so who is Sara to have an opinion especially after she admitted she doesn’t even know much about the situation

The fact that a she outdressed the bride was not on her at all. Many people wore more extravagant stuff in white but she used the excuse that she had a train. NO just say she looks BETTER than you. And most people don’t sit and address people and ask them why they wore what they wore.
I actually feel like brooks is jealous of Sarah in some way, especially after she made the comment “you’re not perfect” and she’s said before Sarah has the best plastic surgery done. There’s some subtle undertones of jealously there. I don’t think Sarah was judging her parenting styles but she does come off like she wants to give unsolicited advice.

Jealous? No. We must be watching different shows. Brooks loved Sara before the parenting scene. She found Sara sweet and nice. That is why she invited her to her home. She wanted her opinion on boarding school. Not her criticism of her parenting. Meanwhile, helicopter parenting has produced more lazy, traumatized and unproductive entitled children. I find no problem with Brooks parenting. She is affectionate to her kid but tougher. Which is fine.
I agree with you but I think more so insecure because I feel like brooks lowkey don’t like the way she responds to things & she wants to find flaws in Sara to make herself feel better about herself which is why she persisted on pointing out her flaws.
Sara is not my favorite, but she is right on this one. Caroline should be more warm with her son. As a single parent, it's hard enough to raise a boy and make him feel loved, strong and secure. That little boy needs his momma, not a business manager.
