Walleye fishing is awesome! Love the bait choices, definitely need to try throw cranks a bit more! For me finding the fish is probably as important if not more important than the baits, but when in doubt the Jig is my favourite method! Awesome video man, Hope to see Tourney Tuesday again his year!

@@sobifishing open water but still cold and windy on the weekends. Got to do a little bass fishing in a local pond tho. Couple more weeks until our walleye trip and I got signed up for a high school bass tourney on May 20

That was a nice silver redhorse! They look similar to golden redhorse, the difference being the silvers dorsal has a convex shape while the golden is concave. We have 6 different species of redhorse in MN and WI!

Yes. I swore I would never troll unless I learned from someone who knew what they were doing. I got really fortunate and was able to go on a fishing trip and learn from a retired pro and now all I want to do is troll. It’s really intimidating but not very hard once you get the basics down. Good luck and tight lines
Should do a video on basic trolling for walleye, no planer boards or anything

Trolling seems real boring lol. Nothing against it since it’s pretty clear it works well but it doesn’t look like much fun

The fish is a red horse or a carp
was having a lot of issues locating fish out here yesterday, it went from thousands to nothing on the side imaging from a few weeks ago.
Hopefully things change! The distance those walleyes can move in a day or overnight is unreal!
The biggest intimidation is having to navigate boat launches and spots around 40-50 other idiots anglers. I'm part of the problem, I confess.
