Your enthusiasm is infectious, every time I watch your vids ( usually in bed on telly , which BTW, I can't put anything in the comment section ) I feel like jumping out of bed and getting a rifle out of the gun room and just hold it, and feel it in my hands, great vids.. That's, why your subs have rocketed..
I really appreciate that mate! If I could, I’d have mine so I can see it at all times. I think im addicted 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the positive energy mate, keeps me going and wanting to make more content 😁🤙
Hey Adam your doing great! You have all the basics down, you cleaned the barrel. Your matching your pellets to your rifle. Now all you have left is to just shoot. Keep up the hard work every video your getting better and better.
Another great video. As someone has already said, your enthusiasm really is infectious. You really have got the bug for it now. My 22 NP02 is a bit erratic until I’ve put a couple of mags through it. I’ve found the sweet spot is 170 to 110. Maybe you could pick up a rail mounted spirit level to stop you from leaning the gun to one side ( leaning the gun is known as “Cant”). It will definitely help with consistency and they’re only about £7. There’s an eBay seller that sells a biathlon lever that simply slides over the Kral cocking lever and clamps in place with a small screw (no drilling required). It allows you to cock the gun easier and without raising your head each time. This will help keep your breathing and heart rate lower and allow you to keep looking through the scope in case you need a follow up shot. If you or someone you know is handy with some basic hand tools, get them to polish the trigger sears. It’s only a 15 minute job but it makes a huge difference. Kral are known to leave a few rough edges on their guns and the trigger sears are one of those areas. It may help stop some of those flyers as the trigger can feel a bit Gritty
Some excellent tips and advice there! I appreciate you taking the time to comment! I definitely need to learn more about internals at some point. I’d like to try and get a bit more hands on with it as time goes on. I think a level is a great idea. John from Hawkes Eye TV has one on one of his and that’s what made the penny drop for me when it comes to “cant” and now it seem so obvious 🤪 Thanks for the positive vibes too. Makes it all worth the effort 😁🤙
Thanks my friend! I had a few “eureka” moments that day 🤣 For every question i answer, 8 more pop up and I’m fine with that 🤣🤣 I appreciate your help and support mate 😎🤙
Keep up the good work Adam. I love watching your videos. The bipod you are using is mounted to the bottle and barrel of the rifle. The more you rest on the gun. The more the point of aim will change. Try using a sandbag on the front of the stock and the back of the gun. You should get better Accuracy that way
I really appreciate the positive feedback! 😉🤙 It’s funny you should say about the bipod, i bought a new one that fits to the woodwork today 😁😁 The one I had wasn’t very stable at all. Thanks for the comment! I hope my future content keeps you entertained too 😉🤙
It's good that you're pellet testing soon. Matching the right pellet for the right gun is so important. I've tried about 20 different pellets for my HW110 before i found H&N Baracuda FT 4.50mm heads. With these im hitting 10 shot groups in a 10mm x 10mm hole at 50m. Lethally accurate pellet for my gun. On the flip side, the worst ones i've tried ive been lucky to get 3 inch groups at 30m!!
Loving the videos. New subscriber here. I’m fairly new to air riffles and I’m just about to get the Mrs the NP02. I tried various pellets in .177 and found that the H&N Field Target pellets to group beautifully in that riffle
Mate that proper made me chuckle! Smacking what you’re aiming at always feels awesome 😁👍 I’ve just got my first PCP, a Reximex Accura .22, and I’ll be using your vids as guides to how to get it dialled in!
🤣🤣 I’m glad you liked it mate. I’m genuinely loving it! Small steps seem to show more bigger steps I need to take, and I’m fine with that! 😁 I like the reximex guns too. Looking at .177 next year and reximex are probably on the list on possibilities 😁 Thanks for the positive vibes! 🤙😁
Don't dive to hard into it! because you will drive yourself mad. Make one change at a time test, then make another adjustment. Take note of what you do and log it. Hold your gun the same way every time, so it becomes second nature. Don't rush, breathe properly. Keep doing the same thing over and over again. There is no substitute for time behind you weapon. Regards Mick
Thanks Mick! You are absolutely right too. The more I learn, the more I realise how much there is! Time behind the weapon is key for sure! Thanks for the input! I appreciate it ☺️🤙
Recently subbed to your channel to follow your target shooting journey. You're getting better with each session! As others have already given some great advice, I'll add my two penn'orth (more like War & Peace). The first is practise, practise, practise! The more often you shoot, the sooner you'll find the shooting style that is most natural for you, as in how you hold the rifle, and how you sit/stand/crouch whilst aiming. Also, relax! It's supposed to be fun! I know you're getting all excited & giddy when the pellet goes where you tell it (it's a great buzz), but when you've hit your mark just take a breath, calm down, then try and do exactly what you did with the last shot. This will also help with keeping the costs down - you're blasting through pellets like there's no tomorrow! I think for your own sanity, you could maybe spend most of your shooting sessions aiming at targets at one distance (25m is a good range to go for at this stage), but then just for fun, and trying out holdovers, aiming at other distances towards the end of the session. Check your trigger weight - is it easy to 'let go', or do you have to put some effort into getting the thing to fire? Although you don't want too light a trigger (this could make it an unsafe 'hair-trigger') you don't need to be having to pull it too hard, as this could affect your aim. Finally, there is very little recoil from a PCP air rifle, so you won't need to hold it in a death-grip! In fact it might be useful if you try to keep as little of your body in contact with the rifle as possible. Don't press your cheek too hard on the cheek piece and don't grip it too tight with your trigger hand. That's all I've got for you - no doubt someone will come back with different opinions, but like you I've only just started target shooting this year, and these tips have helped me improve my accuracy over the last few months. Keep up the good work!
Perfect comment mate, thankyou! All great advice and stuff I will definitely keep working on for sure. Especially the trigger and keeping calm. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment with such awesome advice and tips, I massively appreciate it! 🤙😁
One pointer if you REALLY want to drive yourself up the wall in regard to fine tuning. Get yourself a chronograph if the budget allows it, I’m doing it at the moment with my new Air-arms. Shoot it from the full power all the way down until it loses power, and put it into a graph, then you can find the sweet spot. I am a bit sad haha 😜. Still got to install a new regulator into it then I should be done.
Focus on the mil dots at every range more than the target will definitely help with grouping also using a Chronograph will give you a better idea of where the sweet spot is.
Great topic pal, your correct, what your trying to describe about the cross hair level is called "cant" .Get yourself a little scope level to be more accurate.
Spot on my friend! Thanks! It is obvious to me now but the realisation was a real forehead slap moment 🤣 It makes sense now 😬 Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it 😁
Great vid, To find the sweet spot/power curve fill the gun to max fill pressure then shot it through a chronograph down to 80bar recording each shot, you’ll deffo find the answer 👍
Yup, it 'should' increase in power from full, then drop off once the air is low, your 'sweet spot' is between the volume of air at which it stops rising, then ft/lb holds more or less stable for a while and eventually drops markedly. Simple to find with a tin of pellets (Ideally your rifles food of choice) pen and paper. Write the max-min values on some tape on your rifle somewhere you won't knock often and cover with sellotape to seal. That way you'll have a handy reminder for each rifle/pistol once your stable grows 🤘😁
Great video good to see your learning the rifle. I have owned a np02 for a while now few things i found with it i always let off a few shots 2-3 after a refill. Second i found is the mags that come with it are not great at all. I found they was causing damage to the pellets when loading into the breach i found a company that makes mags for the np02s called jce3d after getting mags from them the pellets load in so smooth no crunching in they just glided in so maybe check them out. Next is when adding a silencer to these some have been known to cause clipping so every now and then just check the end of the silencer see if you are getting any clipping dont seem like you are always worth keeping a eye on it. not sure if they have done this yet but if you get some shotgun stock oil and give it a good few coats on the stock and take the stock off also and do the inside it brings the gain out in the wood and makes it look so much better.
Great advice! I’ve been hunting out more mags as you’re right. The ones supplied are “chippy” on loading sometimes. I’ll check on the other bits you mentioned too! Thanks for the input, it’s what makes my comment section awesome in my opinion ☺️🤙
@@AdzHunts Your welcome always happy to help. Yeah them mags are not great at all had to bin one it just kept crushing the pellets when loading. The mags from that company also hold more pellets too they also do safety blocks.
Cant ( scope slant ) can be easily sorted with a small spirit level attached to either scope or gun rear. Also, eye alignment, you have to make sure your looking dead centre through the scope every shot. I use the centre bend in my baseball cap resting gently on top of the scope every shot so i know where my cheek piece needs to be. You can also put a subtle marker on your cheek piece so you know the exact spot. Loving the content bro 😎
I think a spirit level is a good shout for sure! I need to definitely work on keeping to the same placement of my head for sure too! Thanks for you lr support again! I really appreciate it 😉🤙
I noticed that flyer in your first group so A little tip mate before you shoot your groups give your gun a couple of dry fire shots it’s called purging it just basically wakes up the gun and gets rid of old air and gives a full charge in the system if you get me mate, Plus gun being un level (cant) will throw your shots off too mate
Spot on mate! I’ve been learning about the clean air displacement and firing a couple off to start. Sound advice for sure! The can’t is a c…. Well, can’t 🤣🤣 It seems so obvious now but it wasn’t till this video 🤣 Thanks for your support again mate! 🤙😉
@ Yeah I’ve only just learnt about purging the rifle before use so thought that might of been an issue you might of been running into mate, 😂 I could see the c… cant was getting to you it was proper bugging you I could see it in your face lol glad you’re getting happier figuring things out, and you’re welcome mate it’s good to see you coming along mate 👍🏻
The Kral magazines can be a bit hard on pellets with a soft skirt, like the JSBs and can sometimes damage the skirt as the pellet is loaded. Think about maybe grabbing a single shot tray from CARM to eliminate this variable. it's also worth knowing that the Kral rifles can have a really tight choke. They can often work better with a pellet with a smaller head diameter.I'm going to test some QYS heavies, both 4.50 and 4.49mm heads.
Good stuff bossman. You will defo notice when it’s in the sweet spot for sure . It’s will take a few shots to settle , once that’s a done it will be bang on . Maybe chrono a whole shot string ?
Cheers captain! I’m happy with the way it’s going, even tho I’ve got a fair way to go 🤣 I’m currently looking at getting a chrono as I wanted to do exactly that. Monitor the whole thing as I went. (I’ll have to see what santas got in his sack…or wait till spring 🤣) I’m having a proper blast tho! Onwards and upwards and all that 🤙😁😎
hi mate adam the gun u have is a cracking gun . i had one in the 177 if i was u just go out and start experience what the gun can do on a rabbit and you wont be disappointed
it is a cracking gun mate . u wanna get the Walter rotex rm8 as well in 177 . oh and by the way your vids are cracking your learning a lot of people out there aswell . but trust trust me mate go out one night and try for a bunny . for me its excitement and the hype pf shooting instead of being behind a console and playing blackopps or fortnight and getting bored . lol 😆🤣🤣
Getting hold of someone with a chronograph would be a real help finding the sweet spot (as you noticed full doesn't mean best), run from full down noting the speeds of the pellets rather than focusing on accuracy (for now) and every 10 pellets or so note the air pressure in the gun. Find where you have the a decent amount of shots within a very close speed and that's basically your sweet spot. The best pellet in your gun at 30m won't necessarily be that good at 35/40m so if you're thinking about hunting look for the pellet that gives the best groupings over those distances you want to hunt. Working out the best pellets and working out your hold over/under (mildots) should all be done within the sweet spot. The tilt of your air rifle and the position you place your cheek to the stock each time can all make changes to your accuracy. Pellet testing can be a long and anal (not like that!) process you'll either love or hate.....
😁…you’re a legend. I’ve asked Santa for a chrono, but I’ve been a bit of a turd this year so it may not happen. But I’m definitely investing in one next year for sure! The whole thing is intriguing. It’s just more questions every time! I love it! 😁🤙
Mint vid mate...i find if i fill my npo2 to 180 you get the sweet spot to 160...works for me .its a waxa of a rifle for the price keep up the good work .
@AdzHunts Why not do a video on it to confirm it makes a difference? I've used the Napier Pellet Lube for years now but forgot how much it improved groups, only need 1 spray in a tin of pellets and its cheap 👍
Some observations, great videos, keep em coming,Maybe try loading the pellet slowly each time, will load the pellet consistently and quietly.. (essential if hunting)watch your own videos and you will learn a lot about how your shooting position changes, Noticed your cheek placement which will effect your eye relief looking through the scope, dont know if youve tried the blanking off the reticle with small hole in centre (known as the foil test i believe) to check your eye alignment, you may need to pad out the stock for cheek height to correctly align to centre height of scope.
If/when that tin is empty go buy some “plumbers putty” fill the pellet tin to just below the surface so the lid dont stick, (credit to Tilly’s Gunstock vids) excellent discovery for small silent pellet trap for zeroing in the field.
If fill pressure is 200 bar, try 180 shoot 30 shots at 30 yard, see whats happens , load slower ,no rush, its all about trial and error. When your charge to max 200 bar it takes 15 shots to settle down. On a rifle with out a reg fitted. Cheers
I got Fac Rifle, recommended 200 bar fill, 40 plus shots. But I fill to 180, shot 30 shots then fill back up to 180 again ,so I really only get 30 shots,( in Sweet spot) that's the way unregulated guns work. Keep up the good work, and takes time and effort to learn. When your out on open ground and conditions are not good ,your experience will pay off .😀
Dont forget that temperature will affect everything from air pressure, if its cold, your lead pellets will go hard ,if its warm, they go soft .Also, you have barrel expansion ,try and stick to 3 or 5 round groups ,get yourselves a bit of A4 paper, and just stick a few dots the size of a .22 pellet and have a go at that old archery trick ,and holding your rifle level is called canting ,i always zero at 30 yards, but i am Gen X lol ,your doing great bud ,also try 5 rounds without taking your head off the butt ,lots of us will tell you how to suck eggs but you will get your own way ,also if you want you can weigh and size pellets ,but if your gettingvthem all in a 20p coin you are there m8
Absolutely love this advice! Very true and makes full sense too! I genuinely appreciate the input! Smaller groups is absolutely something I need to do too…I get carried away 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks again for your support too. Legend 🤙😁
I had one of these rifles it loved RWS superdomes and superfield... Both cheap-ish pellets... Was a great gun accuracy wise but it's downside was the fill probe being a piece of shit for going though O-rings and the fact it leaked air
That’s interesting you say that…I’ve filled it maybe 8 times and I couldn’t figure out why it’s leaking on filling…you may have answered that for me 🤣😉 I so the comment and thanks for watching! 🤙😁
Adrenalin will make it hard to stay accurate too. Take breaks between mags and try and stay calm. Rest the body and don't fire too many too quickly. It's a bit like the golfer at the range who hits too many balls. He gets tired, accuracy drops, he keeps trying harder but getting more tired in a vicious circle. Rest the eyes and the arms and take it slow buddy. ATB MMMD
Of course mate! Drop me an email watchtheadz@gmail.com or message me on instagram (adz_hunts) and I’ll put you in touch! The website is still under construction but will be up just after Xmas I do believe. It’s a great place to be. I love it there 😁🤙

That barrel band on the bipod aren't good, They pull the barrel down .. and when the barrel band comes lose it will lift up and put the shot off, fix it to stock ✌️✌️

😂 I could see the c… cant was getting to you it was proper bugging you I could see it in your face lol glad you’re getting happier figuring things out, and you’re welcome mate it’s good to see you coming along mate 👍🏻
Ideal! Mine is .22 so I can’t use the qys but I see what you mean. I’ll be trying new pellets soon so I’ll keep that in mind 🤙😉
Good stuff bossman. You will defo notice when it’s in the sweet spot for sure . It’s will take a few shots to settle , once that’s a done it will be bang on . Maybe chrono a whole shot string ?
Cheers captain!
I’m happy with the way it’s going, even tho I’ve got a fair way to go 🤣
I’m currently looking at getting a chrono as I wanted to do exactly that. Monitor the whole thing as I went. (I’ll have to see what santas got in his sack…or wait till spring 🤣)
I’m having a proper blast tho! Onwards and upwards and all that 🤙😁😎
hi mate adam the gun u have is a cracking gun . i had one in the 177 if i was u just go out and start experience what the gun can do on a rabbit and you wont be disappointed
Thanks mate! You’re right. I just need to get out and use it! It’s a cracking gun tho, I agree 😁
Thanks for the comment! I appreciate ya 🤙😉
it is a cracking gun mate . u wanna get the Walter rotex rm8 as well in 177 . oh and by the way your vids are cracking your learning a lot of people out there aswell . but trust trust me mate go out one night and try for a bunny . for me its excitement and the hype pf shooting instead of being behind a console and playing blackopps or fortnight and getting bored . lol 😆🤣🤣
Another great wee video 😊
You’re a legend as always mate, Thankyou 🤙😎
I love it! 😁🤙
Another quality vid bro 👊
Absolute legend mate, thankyou! I appreciate ya 😁🤙
Mint vid mate...i find if i fill my npo2 to 180 you get the sweet spot to 160...works for me .its a waxa of a rifle for the price keep up the good work .
I think mine is about the same as that! Bloody good gun in that sweet spot too 😁🤙
And thanks for the positive vibes too 😁🤙
Try the Napiers Power Pellet Lube, spray it into a tin of pellets, gives them a 'friction-reducing' coating that improves accuracy 👍
I’ve heard this! I’m definitely going to have to try it out 😁
Thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for watching! 😁🤙
@AdzHunts Why not do a video on it to confirm it makes a difference? I've used the Napier Pellet Lube for years now but forgot how much it improved groups, only need 1 spray in a tin of pellets and its cheap 👍
@@Thunder_Light207definitely! Once I can prove to myself I’m capable of it consistently, I can see what other variables make it better for sure 😁🤙
Don't be cool after a good shot, Adz. I love the finger snap, maybe even a little (subdued) fist pump.
🤣🤣🤣 it was an involuntary reaction but I wasn’t gonna edit it out 🤣🤣
It’s a proper buzz when it goes well isn’t it! 😉🤙
Some observations, great videos, keep em coming,Maybe try loading the pellet slowly each time, will load the pellet consistently and quietly.. (essential if hunting)watch your own videos and you will learn a lot about how your shooting position changes, Noticed your cheek placement which will effect your eye relief looking through the scope, dont know if youve tried the blanking off the reticle with small hole in centre (known as the foil test i believe) to check your eye alignment, you may need to pad out the stock for cheek height to correctly align to centre height of scope.
spot on. This is why I love the comment section! I’ll take it all on board. It’s what I need to improve for sure! Thanks for the advice 😁🤙
If/when that tin is empty go buy some “plumbers putty” fill the pellet tin to just below the surface so the lid dont stick, (credit to Tilly’s Gunstock vids) excellent discovery for small silent pellet trap for zeroing in the field.
@@charlieriddock2531keep in touch mate! I’ve got a load on till after Xmas but I’m mad keen on doing loads next year for sure 😁🤙
Doing great 👍 keep slugging away
Cheers mate! I’ve got a fair way to go but I’m seeing improvement so that’s positive 😁🤙
If fill pressure is 200 bar, try 180 shoot 30 shots at 30 yard, see whats happens , load slower ,no rush, its all about trial and error.
When your charge to max 200 bar it takes 15 shots to settle down.
On a rifle with out a reg fitted.
Cheers
Legend! Thanks! A few comments have said about the slower loading so I need to calm that down for sure 🤣
I’ll definitely give that a go mate! Thanks 😁
When your out on open ground and conditions are not good ,your experience will pay off .😀
Keep it up pal
I appreciate that man! I love it. 😁🤙
Smaller groups is absolutely something I need to do too…I get carried away 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks again for your support too. Legend 🤙😁
@AdzHunts great to see someone turn to the dark side and having fun 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
43 and finger snapped! I'm dieing 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 like a giddy teen I was! I almost shouted “dats sick fam!” 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂@@AdzHunts
I had one of these rifles it loved RWS superdomes and superfield... Both cheap-ish pellets... Was a great gun accuracy wise but it's downside was the fill probe being a piece of shit for going though O-rings and the fact it leaked air
That’s interesting you say that…I’ve filled it maybe 8 times and I couldn’t figure out why it’s leaking on filling…you may have answered that for me 🤣😉
I so the comment and thanks for watching!
ATB MMMD
Spot on my friend. Thanks. I definitely need to learn to calm down 😁🤣
Thanks for the support mate 😁🤙
Can I get the info for the range looks wicked
Of course mate!
Drop me an email watchtheadz@gmail.com or message me on instagram (adz_hunts) and I’ll put you in touch!
The website is still under construction but will be up just after Xmas I do believe.
It’s a great place to be. I love it there 😁🤙
First few shots from 200bar will be a bit wild…. Fill to 180-190 mate
Absolutely. It makes perfect sense tbh. I had no idea what people meant! I assumed “more air is better” but I know better now 🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️

Also try weighing your pellets , that makes a bunch of difference.
I’m stunned how much variation there is in pellets mate! It’s a bloody minefield 🤣🤣
@ Tell me about it , shooting comps you HAVE to weigh them for sure
Has it got a regulator my high cap. 36fp has fill mine up 200 bar turn it down 2 clicks till i get two 1800 👍 then back to full power
No. It’s not regulated… my next one will be 🤣🤣
Also look up scope parallax error! 😎
I have had that mentioned before so I’ll look in to that! Many thanks for the heads up 😉🤙
@@AdzHunts no worries mate, you'll be amazed how much that can improve your shooting when using a scope optic. There is loads of videos on it mate
That barrel band on the bipod aren't good,
They pull the barrel down .. and when the barrel band comes lose it will lift up and put the shot off, fix it to stock ✌️✌️
Absolutely. I’ve fitted a new one now 😉🤙
A😘💕👍👍
😁 thanks! 😁
Adam where about are you ? If your close to me you can try both my guns with different scopes see how you get on
I’m in Cornwall mate! Thanks man, that’s awesome! I’m currently watching scope videos as we speak 🤣🤣
@AdzHunts I'm only up the road from you in south Devon.
I've just brought a themnite scope. Day night and digital.we should meet up sometime for you to try my guns hw100 bsa r12 think you'll like em
@@zippylee3228keep in touch mate! I’ve got a load on till after Xmas but I’m mad keen on doing loads next year for sure 😁🤙
You need to rest the back of stock on some sort of bag and get a better bipod
I have ordered a set of bags 😁
I’m definitely more aware of how it’s my lack of control that causes most of my issues 😬
All a learning curve for sure 😉
Cheers for the advice, I completely agree with you 😉🤙
I feel like you are snatching at that trigger not gently squeezing
Sorry for the delay! But yes, you are 100% right. I snatch the trigger loads when I’m not thinking so I definitely need to work on that 😉🤙
Why did you dress in camouflage when shooting inside the apartment? You should have dressed as a television instead.
