    My exam is knocking at the door & I haven't got any chance to give speaking mock tests in my coaching centre. So your videos help me a lot. I love your videos except the time taken to search your videos with your hard name 😅 Today I took 10 minutes to search with your right surname but it worth it ❤❤

    Hi anfisa today I took IELTS speaking real test and in part1 the examiner asked me the question why two times and in part2 gave me additional question
    Everything was fine cause I didnt have any pauses or serious mistakes I just want to ask you whether these things in part1 and part2 has negative impact on my overal score

    • @IELTS_with_Anfisa
      @IELTS_with_Anfisa  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's hard to say why the examiner asked you the same question twice. Perhaps they thought you misunderstood the quesiton, but an additional one after part 2 is fine. Don't worry, it's not likely to affect your score much. Do tell when you receive your result!

      @@IELTS_with_Anfisa i will but the question why was asked for 2 different questions

      The examiner might have wanted to give you an opportunity to show off your English. Don't think too much of it. It's their way to help the candidates do their best.

    What's the difference between relaxing at home and on a holiday, what can we answer for this? The only question which I find difficult to answer is this 😭!

      @@IELTS_with_Anfisa hm... I'd say "Relaxing at home will have some time constraints because we'll have some work to do , but relaxing on a holiday is different because we can even spend our whole day without thinking about anything"
      Is this okay ??

    • @IELTS_with_Anfisa
      @IELTS_with_Anfisa  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like a great start! But don’t forget to use all the time available for the answer, expand your answers!

      @@IELTS_with_Anfisa Hmm yeah, I'll add something like " on a holiday I can also go out somewhere and spend some more time to unwind myself " and just expand it right??
      So I just keep on speaking until the examiner stops or 30 seconds is enough? We won't be allowed to wear a watch right?

    • @IELTS_with_Anfisa
      @IELTS_with_Anfisa  ปีที่แล้ว

      No watches, but speak as long as you can aiming for about 30-40 seconds in part 3. If the examiner stops you and asks the next question - that’s ok too.
      When’s your exam?

  • @Brownshampaine
    @Brownshampaine ปีที่แล้ว

    Hope you give 20-25second for part 1 and 40-50 second for part 3. Becasue for getting higher band a student should elaborate his answer. And if someone practice in this rapid mood it might be harmfull for his actual test. Hope you think about that, i just share my perpective 🤍

    • @IELTS_with_Anfisa
      @IELTS_with_Anfisa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thanks for your perspective. I leave this particular amount of time to answer each question for two reasons. One is that this is the recommended amount and secondly, I often hear that the examiners rush the candidates and cut them off even before they are finished answering. This leads to unnecessary stress and worries. However, if candidates start preparing with a shorter time from the start, they’ll learn to get to the point straight away. But in case this much is not enough, feel free to hit the pause button!
