    Beautiful design and application.......but honestly the eponynichium area looks raw . I don't think that was necessary. That's illegal in my state to remove skin .

      To order to get license you have to attend at school and take an exam. So if you are licensed nailtech you would know what is illegal from their state. :)

    Most state board regulations prohibit the Russian manicure technique. They are considered microdermabrasion and are outside the scope of a nail technician license.

      I was thinking the same thing. No way would a board inspector be okay with this. Seems like a very popular new trend going on. I’m very curious. Looks like microdermabrasion, and then putting all of those nail product chemicals on top of the exposed skin. Seems potentially dangerous.

      When you exfoliate your face it brings blood to the face also.
      They don't look hurt or raw. Just free of any dead skin cells.

      QwinnT'Sentiel Beauty with Temple Spa & Younique the skin was exposed. Raw. She definitely went in too much with those bits.

    The skin around her nails looks really raw, in the actual Russain videos the skin doesnt look like that just "fresh." I think the metal ball bit was what did a lot of that.

    • @giginull7999
      @giginull7999 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can't even begin to tell you how aggressive you treated this hand. Nails should never be filled and buffed repeatedly in excess of 10 different times. This should not be an instructional video and if it was it should be labeled wrong procedure for nail prep. Filling the top of a nail multiple times is a cardinal sin

    • @rnbsteenstar
      @rnbsteenstar 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You gotta key the metal ball in first with a file.

    I was so excited to see a upload! I personally love your work girl but I have to admit the extra removal of skin is unnecessary for that client .. those drill bits should only be used when someone comes in with a lot of built up calluses from doing hard work for a long time .. where they have the absolute need for removal ..

    I have been watching your videos for sometime now, and try to make excuses for you and not judge and come to the realisation that you don't really know what you are doing, but honestly it hurts to see how you damaged your clients nails. I feel so bad for your clients your endless filing and using efile with bits meant for acrylic or gel only and not her natural nail. Her cuticles looks fine you did so much damage I hope she finds a professional nail tech. No way you went to a professional nail school.

    Thankyou for the honest commentary, many will make out like they've never made mistakes and use all their tools perfectly, and then get eaten alive by negative comments if a set of nails look painful or god awful. I feel Especially if its a past experience and you've improved everyone deserves a chance. So its nice to hear you explain as you go along about the dangers of not using them correctly👏👏

      BeautyByGia try a different brand of top coat. Light elegance super shiny chipped quick for me but shellac top coat I haven't had any issues with. You could also try going around the edges with primer first. Hope this helps! 🖤

    Why are Russian manicures so aggressive with the cuticles?

    • @_darya_3729
      @_darya_3729 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is not the fault of the Russian manicure, but of the manicurists who do not know how to use these bits correctly.

    OMG! I shuttered thru this video. Feeling for your client(s), and quite scared. Actions you took in this video are Ilegal in most(if not all states) in The States. Licensed Nail Technicians would not be allowed to use some of those bits, as you are removing “Living Skin” (which we cant do in The US). Her nails at the end look so raw and cut(the eponynichium). Im speechless. I havent watched any other videos of yours yet, but I would take this down, as it makes you look as if you dont know what youre doing Professionally.
