Very modern stuff! I used to run ManRoland 600s. 40" 2/c, 4/c, 6/c. Max "deliverable" speed (sheets delivered w/o jamming) 8,500-9,000/hr. This here machine you have looks like a very fine device. 4/4 perfect at 12,000+ /hr! Or is that 5/5? I'll have to watch it again. Something I'd be proud to run. But it's a lotta work for a crew to keep up with it. 10 colors! And at that speed. It's gotta be a real workout!
Very cool video! It's very interesting to see roll feed. But then it cuts the sheets, and goes into a sheetfed stream. Can the roll attachment be taken off so the press can run sheets? Roll AND sheetfed? That would be very cool!
i used to run one of these ....damn chemical dermatitis got me in the end and i had to get moved to shipping...i still miss the smell of the ink and paper and solvents. hahah
Brings back memory when I was printing, went to toilet and started talking, forget about the time, got back and i had no more magenta in duct.My colour went biff.I got sacked but the company shut down cause they sent the job out including all the waste sheets i printed.
Do the pressman get paid double for running both sides at once. Perfect? seems only fair if another guy is only printing one side on another press. Where is all the help? If you pay double i want to work there. Im your guy.
is that the ontario drivers handbook i see on the consol under the monitor? where in ontario? i run a rinky-dink roland 5 colour 300. i would LOVE to see this thing in person.
fai attenzione stai usando inchiostri con sostanze volatili, i gruppi di stampa sono pieni di inchiostro, specialmente il giallo. fai cambiare il tipo di inchiostro , non va' bene per queste macchine. giovanni
What design elements on this rather bland looking publication could possibly justify the use of a 10 color press? I don't see anything that couldn't be duplicated using conventional Four Color process.

That's a really neat press.I assume the paper rolls get cut before they get to the infeed?
