Not true. You can make beats with drum samples/VST programs and put them through Content ID. You just can't put beats through Content ID if you're using loops/samples.
@@X4KalekusBeats if they're giving you 100% of the rights and you're the only producer who has the loop then yes you could. Loops and content ID get a bit tricky because even if it's a royalty-free loop other producers using the same loops can get messy on content ID. So that's why you can't use loops from Cymatics, Splice, etc. with Content ID but any original beats you can.

That's dope bro! My best advice for the beats channel is to make a really consistent design. Same colour scheme, same graphics, same way of titling each video. Make it super consistent so people can tell which videos are yours. If you stick to a certain artist type or genre that should help too. TH-cam's kinda flooded with producers so I find that posting often (I'm doing daily uploads on my beat channel this month) has worked well for me. By doing those things for a while TH-cam will help your videos rank higher in the algorithm.

It's easy and straightforward to use but I feel like some other alternatives might be better. For example with Airbit I can't whitelist certain channels. They don't give a lot of flexibility/features but it's easy enough!

Cant answer for him, but I watched another video where he said it could be an honor system, and that you can have a team of lawyers to monitor it. I think that its up to you how much you wanna control it. If youve sold 10 beats you can probably easily control it, but when you reach 100 I’d maybe check a few every once in a while

It wouldn't make sense for me to go back to every Artist who bought a lease and tell them to take down their songs. If that were the case I'd have to refund their lease payments as well. So with that being said, I see it as: if you buy a lease you'd be good to use it forever, even if someone buys the exclusives. Exclusives prevent and can impact artists using the beat after them, but not before.

Yes! Took a while to get here though. I've had my beats online for 10 and a half years now! I hope the main takeaway from this video is that it is definitely possible if you're willing to put the work on. Also, there are a lot more opportunities for producers now compared to when I started over a decade ago. For example the whole 'type beats' market wasn't even on TH-cam when I started. Now a lot of rappers & singers know exactly what to search whenever they need a beat!

If I have proof that their license doesn't cover how they're using it I could technically take legal action since it's a breach of contract. I will admit it is a bit hard for me to track EVERY single person who buys a beat to make sure they're using it correctly, so I do need to put some faith in Artists to do the right thing. But the licenses do at least protect me if I ever need to go as far as to taking action against someone.
Having a consistent schedule is something that I wish I was better at! I usually make a few each week, but honestly I find that when I'm making & releasing beats and content every day my engagement and sales start to pick up.
I try to export the beat as close to 0db as possible and haven't had any issues with artists needing more headroom. I try to make my beats online sound as loud and clear as possible because I think if your beats are too quiet artists will skip over/it won't grab their attention.
