    Welcome to this tutorial on Rond de jambe a terre and Grand rond de jambe a terre.
    These are ballet exercises that involve circular movements of the leg on the floor. 🌀
    👉 Let's start with Rond de Jambe a terre.
    ▪️ Begin in a standing position with your feet together, your core engaged, and your arms in a rounded position in front of you.
    ▪️ Then, extend your right leg out to the front, pointing your foot and keeping your knee straight.
    ▪️ Circle your right foot on the floor from front to back, returning to the starting position.
    ▪️ Keep your upper body stable and your standing leg engaged.
    ▪️ Repeat the circular motion several times, then switch to the left leg.
    👉 Next, we have Grand Rond de Jambe a terre.
    ▪️ Start in the same standing position as before.
    ▪️ Extend your right leg out to the front, pointing your foot and keeping your knee straight, while the supporting leg bends in a demi-plie.
    ▪️ In this case, the movement is a fondu.
    ▪️ Move your right leg in a circular motion, starting at the front and moving to the side, back, and then returning to the starting position.
    ▪️ Keep your upper body stable and your standing leg engaged.
    📌 It's important to keep your turnout throughout these exercises.
    Turnout means that you rotate your legs outward from your hips so that your knees and toes are pointed away from your body. You should also keep your core engaged and your upper body stable to prevent any unnecessary movement.
    Rond de jambe a terre en dehors and en dedans are two variations of the circular movement of the leg.
    🔹 Rond de Jambe a terre En Dehors starts from the front of the body and moves outwards towards the side, then back to the starting position at the front.
    The foot traces a semicircle on the floor away from the body.
    En dehors means "outward" in French. 🩰🇫🇷
    🔹 Rond de Jambe a terre En Dedans starts from the back of the body and moves inwards towards the centerline, then finishing at the front. The foot traces a semicircle on the floor towards the body.
    En dedans means "inward" in French. 🩰🇫🇷
    Remember to take your time with these exercises and focus on proper technique. With practice, you'll be able to perform these movements with grace and precision.
