I have actually thought that it would be cool to have colliding planets, but rather than it being a bit of a bug in the procedural system, it would be a feature. where youd see tons of chunks of broken off bits of the planet, maybe even an exposed core, etc. or. if not then a collided moon with a planet. or two moons colliding. You wouldnt necesserely be able to visit the connection point because the heat generated by the collision. but it could potentially trigger a balance of two biomes. where you could have a toxic planet, that near the edge of the collision turns extremely hot and radioactive. so no matter what suit youd have you wouldnt be able to survive the area.
I like the idea that when two planets collide, they not only both produce a large amount of heat, but they also mess up gravity so much that the area where they are colliding is the main source of gravity, leading to you ‘falling sideways’ off one planet towards the new center of gravity. The collision area is literally becoming so dense, it becomes its own center of gravity for both of the planets.
Awesome find, but I've heard these can mess up your save, people have gotten stuck in the middle. Please be careful! Edit: I just got to the part of your video where you said it yourself lol, sorry for the premature comment
@@legocreator768Not sure, I don’t really mess with those, but someone a lot smarter than me probably could, or you could just reload the restore point if your ship isn’t too close.
Wdym by "gotten stuck in the middle". As in, get stuck floating in between two planets and going up and down because of two separate gravity pulls and can't get back to the surface and now they are stuck just floating between worlds? That would be cool and tragic.
@@tacomctacov2622As shown in the video, if you get too close to the edge, the planet you are on will unload, and the other planet won’t fully load in time, and you will fall under the ground. If that happens, you can just reload the restore point of your ship isn’t too close to the edge.

That’s alright, thanks for looking out for me.
can you use a save editor to fix it?

My current home moon seems to collide with it's planets rings sometimes, when you go to rings on foot it's a little bit trippy
That sounds cool
The freighter is freaking out
been a thing forever i have shots from the get go of this still cool to see also planets that are negative are amazing
This glitch has a proper name "planetary overlap instance " on the display
I just named the planets that.
@@Blu_Macrowave ooooh, ok. I thought hello games had a name file for that situation.
@@demandred1957Nope, just my massive brain. :)
Lovecraftian af
It looks like the smaller one is being absorbed or something.
Nice, very rare find.
That's a really cool find.
dats awesome good find man!
Colliding planets should be a featoure in Worlds Pt III (If theres any Pt III)
your old home planets new version is an exact copy of what my home planet looked like before the reset Huh????
Neat!
I love the mushrooms planets
what platform are you playing on
Xbox
Once I found a moon inside the parent planet's rings
Can you share the glyphs for this system? So cool. I’d love to check this out myself!
If/when I make another video about this, I will share the glyphs.
Your homeworld downgrade funny af 💀
😢
Oh boy! What a great content creator!
That really means a lot!
you mean the 10 fps Video ?
The guy literally said its laggy and buggy because of the two planets@@t50funny
can't find bugs like these :( I think I found one long time ago but my dumbass didn't save it
Pretty neat
I reelllly hate what they did to my planet
It really sucks.
Thats more like a glitch
It is.
