I tried to watch this whole episode … I really did. But Barr was so hypocritical and engaged in so much distorting of his actions as AG I finally couldn't stomach anymore.

PBS brainwashes it’s regular viewers so that they become radical leftists. If they accurately reported , trump wouldn’t have wasted time tweeting all the damn time because pbs and the like were lying about him all the time.
This was more about trying to dig up dirt on Trump than an honest look at Barr. I can understand why it would be a difficult watch.

Ms. Hoover, I must applaud your ability with regard to how well you were able to interview Mr. Barr as to his diverse answers but more importantly his blasé opinion regarding the events that resulted in an insurrection that Drumpf instigated on J6. Mr. Barr must step away from any future potential employment within our Government today, tomorrow or forever. Mr. Barr is no longer fit, along with his previous boss in the W.H., to ever serve again.

This was a great interview we et a better understanding & truer sense of who someone is when an interviewer is not hostile and allows the person to talk. That said, the fact this man thinks character is optional in a President is the reason why America is where we are. Character is the ONLY thing that matter. We can't expect someone with dubious character to keep his vow. period. good riddance to him.

Voting by mail has a long history in the United States, serving as the primary method of voting in Colorado, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Hawaii, which automatically send REGISTERED VOTERS mail-in ballots. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, California, Nevada, New Jersey, Vermont, and Washington, D.C. introduced the same procedure for the 2020 vote. At least that “requested ballot” argument could be considered a reasonable objection but: he makes it sound like they just send out ballots randomly. 1) These were sent to folks who already registered to vote. Big difference. 2) The state has to right to decide how voting works, not the Fed. 3) there was almost 0 evidence of voter fraud and we know it was checked over and over again. 4) Swing states include Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio, Arizona, Iowa, Michigan and North Carolina. Florida NONE IF THEM MAILED UNREQUESTED BALLOTS. HOWEVER, you want to argue that more folks voted because of the Mail in option than ever before? Personally, I think it was because of such massive disapproval of Trump, but the two may have worked together. So at best the Rep. argument is the vote by mail gave more of a representative portion of the population an opportunity to vote and they don’t like that. Too bad boys! That free and fair!!!

Your comments about trust in universal mail-in balloting in Colorado is interesting. What do you really know about the subject? Voter rolls, ERIC, 100,000 ballots not returned, signature verification, the 2005 Federal Election Reform report concerns on mail-in balloting. We can do better.
