I met him at a book signing for beautiful creatures in 2013, he was such a sweetheart. Genuinely kind and smiling and goofy. I'm so happy to see him getting such great roles lately.
Kimberly Wise beautiful creature!!! Wish they would have continued to make the series into movies!! Super underrated and he does an amazing job in it!!
I know a lot of people didn’t like the movie but it was pretty good! Wish they would’ve made the rest of the series instead of ending the first movie the way they did. The beautiful creatures series is one of my favorites
Kimberly Wise Oh boy, having finished the book series just a week ago left me in awe and crave for more yet happy to be part of this universe... i wish they adapt the rest of it to the big screen! Huge fan of the novels.
Theres a sort of down to earth vibe to Alden Ehrenreich every time he tells a story he follows with "I probably shouldn't have told you that" which makes him more likable and seem like one of us
Oh come on. Now I definitely can't see all the hate for him as solo. This interview says it all. Watching it I am sold on him being Han solo. Here he's so laid back and reserved, serious and stern with that fricking laugh. I think he's going to nail it
yes actually he's EXCELLENT! his name is Dr. Harry Aranowitz- he has a pic of the cover of Beautiful Creatures (the show alden plays in) and he always talks about him
Doesnt matter, you have to have some similairities with a character in order to come across believable, type casting. Or do you think every actor can play every role, just because they can act?
I didn't say that. But your argument of "this guy is to much introvert", which isn't even a proper statement, is irrelevant. A lot of actors are introverted in a sense. Also if you watch more of these W Magazine videos, the interviewees are talking in a low calm voice. You can't expect this guy to be exactly like Han Solo, the way Harrison Ford is. Anyway, I thought his speaking patterns in this video were much more similar to Ford compared to past interviews.
He just isnt the rebel type, you can use any argument you want, but he just isnt, its like Heath Ledger and Jared Leto, both can play the Joker, but only one was able to make that stamp, that difference, Alden isnt that guy, not hoping the Han Solo movie wont be any good, i think it will be a good movie, not as good as Rogue One but hey, but im almost certain that Alden will be the weak part of the movie. But then again maybe this will be Alden's Joker role like Heath Ledger ;)

john betsoleiman in my opinion he was amazing
I thought he was great as Solo! And he seems so approachable and well spoken in interviews. I really hope they do another Solo movie with him. :)
And he did nail Solo 🖒😁
Alden is one of the rising. most prominent actors is the world! A national treasure:)
Can't wait to see him play Han Solo!

Young Ehrenreich. We will watch your career with great interest
The Bacons I see what you did there.
the way alden laughs just cured my anxiety, cleared my skin, my grades went up
man he is the dream dude
Ah.. ok, I finally get it. I get the young Han Solo/Harrison Ford vibe from him here.

Yes
Alden Ehrenreich, Taron Egerton and Ansel Elgort in a movie together Now, please!
yes!!!!!
Mizz Maria gosh yes.
Billionaire Boys Club is gonna have Taron and Ansel together!
They all have huge heads!
And Tye Sheridan too.
I wanted to see him and Anton Yelchin together in a movie so badly.
:(
SayuriWada :/
In like the worst..possible way to die ever...I honestly hate even thinking about it.
:(
They should remake Weekend At Bernies.
He's so sweet-looking..like you'd live him to hold your children kinda vibe
He was a fantastic Han
He’s so suave and chill. Great job in Solo if you can see this
He is literally gorgeous with the personality to match it 😍
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 loved him since Beautiful Creatures, and I’m so happy to see him in more Hollywood-themed movies and Solo!!!
Wow, he really does have an attitude of a young Solo. Lowkey. But I have some faith now
I love him!! he's good-looking! Well, and also a great actor! can't wait to see him as Han Solo!
I loved him in Beautiful Creatures. I think he will make an interesting Han Solo even though he may not have seemed like the obvious choice.
He’s got a great smile
This man is so beautiful
He looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, Dane DeHaan and Christopher Nolan
When he smiles, he reminds me of Robert Pattinson
i think jack nicholson
Yep I get a young Leonardo DiCaprio vibe except Alden is likeable.
It's funny you say that cause now he's in a Christopher Nolan movie. It's like he read your comment
He’s so pretty oml
This is the most relatable W interview I’ve ever seen
Dinah Laurel Merlin Particularly the part about “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
Great video! He really is a looker and reminds me of Harrison a lot. I loved him as Solo and that voice! I could listen to him talk all day long. 😍
Had a dream about him last time and now cant get him out of my head
I was delighted when he showed up in Oppenheimer but I was introduced to him in Beautiful Creatures.
He's a doll.
I've been a fan of his ever since I watched the yellow birds.
Ahhh it’s good to see him after beautiful creatures
hes cute
I can see him as Han Solo.
I hope he still has the street signs
What a dreamboat :D
he's really a nerd. I like him. he's gonna be a funny Han Solo.
"Its a wonderful life probably" quite misleading unless you hear the question referring to his favourite movie. Context is key
He is so cute!
he’s so pretty wtf
This dude looks more like Jack Nicholson than Harrison Ford! Not a bad thing at all but still.
I actually first saw him starring on 'rules don't apply' movie as I think this guy is cool
He’s so handsome. I think he’d make the perfect Wolverine in the X-men reboot
Thanks for all the praise guys 😅
Came here after binging on Brave New World
Alden is Leonardo’s son. I’m convinced.
He reminds me of a young Dougray Scott
You've read my mind LOL XD
Kate Elizabeth mixed with Antonio Banderas and George Clooney
German name. He does kinda look like Han Solo btw.
OMG He is sounding like my Leo DiCaprio 😱😍😍😍😍 an a little bit looks like Leo 😳😳😳
OMG he’s American??? Why did I thought he’d have a foreign accent by his name????
A lot of Americans are like that
his stepdad is my ortho
yes actually he's EXCELLENT! his name is Dr. Harry Aranowitz- he has a pic of the cover of Beautiful Creatures (the show alden plays in) and he always talks about him
What!? is that true?
yes
100%
Have you seen him before? alden! ?
He used to take piano lessons w my teacher
Really?
What Emily is he speaking of ?
Where has he been hiding from me all this time?
ZOOM FILLED IN
ehrenreich is German
Did he play Chris McCandless?
No, that was Emile Hirsch
This feels like Harrison ford sort of he's not too energetic like ford
Han Solo/Harrison Ford was way more cocky, this guy is to much introvert.
He isn't playing Han Solo in the interview....

I guess we won't know until we see it. Hasn't even been a trailer yet. :)
Not my Han
Uh No! Not a good fit for Han Solo. ...then again Disney needs to let that character be and move on.
he looks like leonardo dicaprio
