    4:13 that was Seth's last cue card on SNL... It's sweet that he keeps it in his dressing room

    I'm amazed A Closer Look is written by just one guy! It's really consistently funny I thought a team was writing it.

    Wally!!!! What a legend!!!! The same team that does the SNL cue cards also does Seth's. Makes sense as he would've been so used to them doing Weekend Update all those years!

    Weird thing, i somewhat remember that doctor story, and even some jokes, but everything moves so fast, that it feels like that's a history today, like 5 years old history... It was just a few months ago. Right? Weeks? This trumpatisation of feeling /understanding time is really really f annoying...

    Why do they use a cue cards guy and not a teleprompter?

    • @JonathanGrahamVideo
      @JonathanGrahamVideo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Laitalafraise it’s a preference thing. NBC likes to use cue cards because there’s no way there can be a technical glitch. It’s also easy on the eyes when the talent reads it. SNL uses cue cards as well.

      Jonathan Graham it is also happening in the same building as snl so they can share the cue card department.

      It's not a cuecard department - it's Wally, who is a gem of great worth. Keeping up with Seth's amazing and inimitable delivery is not a job for beginners.
