Who needs caviar and micro beads when you can use SALT?
Caviar nail art is really famous but Im not sure when to purchase one.
So I thought of using the next best thing-SALT!
This design is so easy and fun to create.
You can also use one color or paint each nail in a different shade.
Pastel is also perfect for summer.
These nails remind me of sugar-coated jelly candies.
Yummy! :)

I just did this and so far I LOVE it! I used a purple base coat and while it was still wet, dropped table salt on it. After that had time to dry, I put a purple gilmmer gloss over it and it's beautiful!

when you put the top coat on after the salt, I think you should use a different nail brush unless you want a bunch of salt I your nail polish

I did this and the salt went under my nails and made a cut and salt went into the cut it made and it burned like crazy 🔫😂

U can do the same with gliter only get gliter any color and then apply clear polish on your nails then just apply gliter let it dry then apply your favorite color( this is to make a 3D effet and if you dont have colored gliter

You can order micro beads for caviar nails on Amazon for SUPER cheap! It costs like 3 dollars for a bunch of containers. Hope that helped!
But a bottle of salt is cheaper. hehe :)

if you dont like that burn where you have a hang nail or any type of cut on your hand .. you could use sugar ..
Textured nails. Cute idea and cheaper than buying the textured polish.
Instead of salt, perharps you can use micro beads. It turns out really nicely and neat. :)

Trying this right now!! However, not too sure how well this'll hold up when I have to go to work (I work at a restaurant, so I'm constantly washing my hands, getting them wet and covered in food, and scraping my nails!).

I myself tried that and I did everything correctly, and as soon as I took my shower( not after I did my naisl, but the next day) three of my fingers with salt on them, had dissolved, so it doesn't matter how much top coat you use, its still going to melt. trust me. plus its a mess to take off. I almost threw up from the odor and the way it looked, as I was taking it off. but they are fun to play with or rub your finger against. :)
For me personally, I'm not a huge fan of having a gritty texture-so I'm not sure this look is for me. However I LOVE the colours that you picked :) And I think its great that you post these videos so people can find looks they like :) I'm going to keep watching your videos so hopefully I can find some that I want to try out
I thought about using sand! As I find the caviar comes off quite quickly!

the clear coat on top is what seals it in...so you shouldnt have has trouble with it coming off if you did that,
This is cool, but I don't recommend doing it too much or leaving it on for longer then a week. Because the salt might rot your nails.

cool idea! looks great! but they make a ready made one that you can buy in bottles. its called sugar coat and is better for your nails than actual salt! looked good though!!

I think if you take a bath the salt will melt because the colorless nailpolish can be remove easily
If you apply clear polish, it will prevent the salt from completely melting. :)

Use granulated sugar for better reasons salt could get in any cuts u have around ur nails from removed skin like me and it would really hurt and when u liked ur fingers it would be sweet like liking sugar not salt

Buy a really nice bottle of nail polish (OPI for ex) and paint your nails. You won't want to bite your nails when you have a beautiful (and pricey lol) polish on your nails! :) That helped me

I have a Sally Hansen nail varnish that has little gritty stuff in that looks similar to this if you put it on thinly. Its called sugar coat x
