So much action!!!! I think my favorite part is the way the Joe team gets to show off so much hardware and how so many of them have a chance to shine in a fairly short amount of time.
I so dig all the folks that are getting show cased. It feels like the whole community is just getting bigger with all of this folks making such great things.
Thanks, glad you liked it! I don't mind the labor of stop motion, it gives me s chance to get a close look at my Joes. I try to use a chair as much as possible to help the pain.
That was pretty darn good; I haven’t been the biggest fan of some of the past fan collaboration efforts, but this one took it up a notch or two on many fronts (great pace, beautiful audio effects, smooth stop motion in many places, and some vocals that harkened back to the old cartoon). Didn’t like seeing the Baroness apparently buy the farm, I must say, and I missed Flint and Shipwreck, but that was some quality entertainment. Thank you for the hard work!
This is amazing. 3:06 That scream! Bazooka shot to the gut! The stop motion brings me back to the days of watching Davey and Goliath on TV. Now I need to buy all the Retro Gi Joe releases coming out now so I can make some of my own movies like this. I sold and gave away all my joes back in the day. Fantastic work!
Wow! I did stop-motion filming as a 6th grader one summer. We used cut-out figures with string and scotch tape on the back to be able to articulate and keep them together. We also had lighting that was focused on the painted scenery. It was pain-staking to move a figure or object and take a frame by frame picture of same. The heat that the light bulbs gave-off were intense. Weren't you concerned about your figures melting?! Great job-The movements of the Joe figures and flying vehicles were smooth for the most part-I had fun watching this. More videos please-Yo Joe!
This is probably the best video you guys have made with your G.I.Joe toys and figures! I'm not saying the other ones are bad but I like how you guys were able to film all the action in stop motion! I also have some of the figures and vehicles featured in this video such as Duke, Gung-Ho, Scarlett, Rock & Roll, Recondo, Airborne, Dusty, Doc, Flint, and Destro in the figures I could name and think of in my collection and I also have vintage vehicles of the Awe Striker, Toss and Cross Bridge Layer, Rattler, and Hiss Tank!
Samuel Fawley thanks for the kind words! Although I did the video and stop motion, it wasn't until Stephen Jubber added dialogue and sound effects, that it was complete
Dan R That would be my fault. I appreciate your question. The truth is I'm new to making videos and I didn't know if I was allowed to use the sunbow music trk without permission. So I used the closest I could find from the musi library from my editing program.
Glad you liked it! Green screen for the background sky, the explosions and fires are layered video called stickers, and the mouths moving is the phone app.
Dude stop motion video is great would have never thought of it great job
Dang those sets espically the cobra base are amazing.
So much great content from you guys!

This is an epic battle! I loved the voice casting along with a ton of sweet action. You guys knock it out of the park this time!
I can't take credit for the voice acting but I'm glad you liked the action!
But you can take credit for all that sweet action. Well done Corbra and thank you Droz!

We have to pick up the slack if Hasbro won't.
Good job. Miss the videos. "Retreat Retreat Retreat.!"
Absolutely tremendous; excellent work to all of you. Stop motion is a long and thankless pain. Plus Destro's mouth moving was outstanding.

Stop motion is some next level stuff.

Thanks! It was all shot on my dinner table on a blanket, with a green screen back drop.

Damn so many named characters dying! I would love to see a Slice and Dice matchup maybe with Quick Kick and Jinx?
Gotta love them ninjas! Nice pairings.

Great job. Where did you get the black uniform cobra trooper. Way cool. I want one!!!
I got him from a toy store. I believe he was made for a convention.

Tech Kagi Glad you liked it! I'm working on the next part right now!
Any reason why you don't have the sun bow music track in the background like you used to? The Joe tunes make it feel Joeburg, I miss them. 🙁
