Hey coach I just want to thank you so much for the help the past two years. your videos have improved me from being a low 40 ft throw into a low 50ft thrower in shot put and a low 100ft thrower in discus to a 145-150ft thrower in discus.
I am a senior 77 old trying to throw the shot and discus. The shot seems to be doing ok with your video help since its been several decades since I last threw but I seem to be having a problem with the discus fitting my hand. I will be using a 1K discus but the only ones I have found are a woman's size and it does not seem to fit my hand. Do you know where I may get a man size at a 1K weight? Thanks for any help and keep those videos coming.
Hi Im in 10th grade and a 160' discus thrower. I am having a problem with my right foot placement on my first drive step. What can I do and how can I fix this? (I step too far and to the left) -Sam
Anthony Bustamante possibly. Early releases are typically happening (at least what I’ve seen a lot lately doing video analysis) because the athletes feet are not aligned correctly and they have to lift their feet off the circle and try to twist their body around and they end up releasing the discus down the right sector line. But then again there’s so many reasons why the discus could come out early it’s really tough to say.

Great video you explain the timing in a very intuitive way

If the discus is aligned with the hip or in front of the hip (in your ehat not to do example) is that a reason for the discus to release early?
