In this video I get to finally start my rebuilt Stihl Ts350 Super cut off saw. The saw has been fitted with new crankshaft bearings & seals, new Wartec piston and cylinder plus a few other parts to complete. Features a post rebuild compression test and tune up.

Hi great to see the saw up and running, I’m a bit further behind on mine but I’m going the whole hog now bearings the lot. With the recoil I was put a piece of aluminium curved around inside counter sink a couple of small rivets to hold it in place and from above make good with chemical metal, I’m interested how you go about that. But great work I enjoyed🙂👍
I thought of doing exactly what you described at first but I’ve now got other ideas it’s virgin territory for me but I’m waiting on the stuff to arrive in the post so I can experiment with it.That was the very first start by the way I was quite apprehensive!
Ordered a new aftermarket ignition coil for mine today off ebay and flywheel puller hopefully will get a spark fingers crossed but since watching your videos ive a better understanding of the saw and howbto tackle it and im looking forward to getting it to run so thanks for the vids mate been a massive help 👍

Ross you didn’t really need to buy the flywheel puller, I did it easy with a punch and hammer (no damage caused at all) I did also make a clutch puller.
Good vid on the ts. Is that a car comp tester u are using as it will give a low reading. Try a two stroke tester should be gettin 150 psi.

I just rebuilt a 350 ... What is the white plastic valve on the fuel line under the cover for?
It’s a tank vent.

It’s mixed gasoline 50:1 ratio. With two stroke oil .

Not for a while, I’ve got some broken flags in the patio to cut and replace but that can wait while next summer!
