In this episode filmed in 2017 Will Raison visits the Sedges Fishery in Somerset in part one of two about tackling new or unfamiliar waters. This first session features the Sedges Fishery Canal Lake as Will uses commercial canal tactics to sort out a decent catch. He includes choosing how to approach a new water. Why you should fish to your own strengths; fishing in extreme heat and choosing tactics for the conditions; the areas of the swim to target; how to start the session and reacting to your early findings then making changes. He covers a variety of shallow presentation options as well as how he chooses tactics to avoid small fish while selecting the right stamp of fish. Plus much more.

Creators note March 2024 : You may know that I shot and edited the Will Raison Fishing videos that were published by V2V Angling Productions but illness (I have a rare form of blood cancer) brought me to a point where a few years ago I could not continue making them. As the copyright owner of these productions I believe they are still packed with good info and advice even if they are somewhat dated now. Sorry you feel that way but these were not actually made for TH-cam. They were originally produced for the subscription Emag that I produced with Will Raison. It’s part of the package of info and entertainment but it is not always going to be to everyone’s taste. I do hope you found the info useful however. Kind regards Brian Gay.
