2017-2020 Silver Krugerrand Coins 1oz/2oz Proof/Bullion with some NGC Grades

Today we will be looking at the Silver Krugerrand from 2017 to the current year 2020.
Due to the extreme premiums on coins at the moment I am not currently buying. Once things settle down I will consider looking around.
The Silver Krugerrand was first released in 2017 and it was limited to 1 million coins in Premium Uncirculated Bullion and 15 000 in proof.
The Paul Kruger design was first seen on the original ZAR (Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek) coins of 1892. Paul Kruger was the President and so featuredon the coins.
After the Boer War 1899-1902 Paul Kruger went into exile and no coins were produced until 1923 when the first Union of South Africa coins were released however these featured the British monarch.
Only in 1967 did Paul Kruger effigy reappear on the first Gold coin which was hence forth called the Krugerrand.
The design has not changed and features the Springbok which is the national animal of South Africa.
These are the limited numbers of all the other years:
2018 Bullion - unlimited & 15500 Proof
2019 Bullion - unlimited & 20 000 Proof
2020 Bullion - unlimited & 20 000 Proof
2020 2oz Proof - 10 000 only. No Bullion

hey silver limey great video, loving these krugerrand coins, sure do look good in the ngc slab, congrats on the top pop 70 grade. i will be definately looking out for some top pop grades for sale ...im really into the 2 0z silver coins at the moment. thanks for sharing , good luck buddy

Proof coins just give that extra "oomph" to a coin / round (most of the times). Krugerrands are among my favorites all though I don't have much of them yet 😃 Very nice coins you have in the collection buddy ! Hope you're settled a bit in a new surrounding !
The finish on these are really good and the strike is superb. With premiums on Bullion almost double, premiums on proof coins havent changed much.

Awesome bud. These are extremely popular series. There worth a fair bit now. I sent. 2017 in for grading but these were having issues when they arrived with customers and the capsules were loose. Majority of them get a lower grade.

Yeah one of my favourites. These started off at around €160 and there heading up. I see a few at $250. Only 10 000 so it's inevitable.
