I fell in love with this watch just before Covid. The movement is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately when I went back after they reopened it had sold. Panerai at south coast plaza had ordered it for a customer.

You are very right. This p2004 looks exceptional compared to the current version offered in luminor collection. I suppose they made a name for themselves coming off eta movements, and now they're chilling, beaching, coasting...in-house.😀

If I were a 6' 4, 275 pound businessman who wears a suit every day this would be perfect for me! What a great watch!
just not for a dude like me who wears jeans and a T-shirt and works on stage in the entertainment industry. Oh well..
I will stick with G shocks for now lol. ( But I will be buying a 1392 or 1312 Sometime in the next 10 months or so. Cant wait!)
