My son and daughter -in-law might want to move to Sonoma county. The are a young couple, how will have $100,000 equity in their current home for down payment. Both make good money. However, they want to take me (mom) along so we'll need an ADU or an in-law or a trailer in the yard? They're thinking Santa Rosa but don't really know. We all currently live in Richmond. Yes there are nice neighborhoods in Richmond. You don't have to live in the hood. To me, the priority is schools, schools, schools. Where are the best schools in Sonoma county that they can afford a $750,000 home?
