I wish I could isolate the instrument tracks of this demo version and isolate the vocal tracks of the album version, and then combine them. That would sound incredible.

I wish more demos were available, it really gives you a good sense of the influences of the band and what their actual style was like. I think some people underestimate the control a producer could have especially with a band at an early stage, and obviously if it succeeds it encourages the band to make more of this style, even if it wasn't their original direction. Imagine if mainstream 90s metal had been self produced and released digitally. When you think of it it really fits the mindset of many of these bands.
If the ending of this song where Jonathan is screaming “I’m blind” was in the final version it would be much better

Prefer the Are You Ready on this version, and it’s so awesome with how heavy it is, but it needs the original albums vocals and softness in the verses
