Let's return to some wacky stories of wacky characters who all had something in common; they wanted someone gone for good, and unknowingly enlisted an officer or informant to do so. In this ole video let's delve more into the why's why, and how oblivious you have to be, even when you are looking directly at a camera filming you ask for murder.

So if they believed she was really at the end of her rope and didn't see a way out, they might have taken it easy on her. Just a theory

As someone who works in Healthcare, the Hitman Information Protection and Privacy Act gave me a good chuckle.

As someone who worked 6 years as an estate planning paralegal, where I prepared HIPAA Releases every day, that gave me quite the chuckle too!

Which is so funny on multiple different levels. The website's HIPPA is the "Hitman Information Privacy and Protection Act of 1964", and the real HIPAA is the "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996". Two Ps vs two As, which is a common misspelling of the real HIPAA, plus he changed the year of the bill which is also hilarious.

I was watching this very interesting video when, during the coverage of the Tommy Carrolton case, i saw Michelle Heller, the prosecutor who cross-examined Carrolton. I worked with Michelle at the Orange County State Attorney's Office back in the early 80s. Sadly, sweet, kind Michelle passed away some years ago after a long illness. It was great being able to see her again in this video. I thank the author for that opportunity.

I can’t help after seeing the staged photos, imagining the potential victims and the officers doing the photo shoot. I would guess it’s some of the most fun they have at their job.
I'm wondering how the elaborate schemes are justified, as if the police had nothing more worthwhile to do than stage assassination photo shoots? But I guess it probably gives them some satisfaction in their job.

It isn't done for fun... It is done to solidify convictions. Showing the offender a photo of the target who is "deceased" while they're being recorded is great evidence. After that happens, it is almost impossible to claim they didn't mean to have them killed. Start looking through the lens of evidence, facts, and legal strategies, and things will make more sense. Conspiracy to commit first degree murder is extremely serious... Let us know what's more worthwhile than homicide detectives gathering evidence of a would-be murder...
They probably do get a lot of satisfaction from it, but it has nothing to do with playing dress up. They're putting murderous assholes in prison.
I'm blown away how far the American police go to pretending and acting out that a crime occured.

I do know of some cases where people have almost died from “hire killers” but usually it’s not done through the internet but connections and gangs but the website thing…? I seriously can’t get over how anyone who is over the age of ten could ever possible think it was real. Also the woman’s laugh after she says “throw him in the wood chipper” is haunting. You can tell she is literally batshit insane. Good thing the dad had custody even before this. The judge clearly sensed she was mega unstable even without the murder for hire. That’s very telling.

We had a bilateral leg amputee, cat burglar in my town. On his third appearance in magistrates court, the Chair of The Bench advised him to find a line of work more suited to his abilities. 😐
It’s definitely his niche. He’s been doing it for a while and he’s a great at it.

All this killing between couples with young kids, so selfish, short-sighted, and stupid. I feel for the kids more than the victims, honestly.
The premeditation involved in these type of crimes is what really gets me. They have a hundred chances to make the right choice and yet they continue on.
Yeah the "hitman" even gives them an out to back out of the idea before it being final.

i completely agree - in younger perpetrators, mental illness combined with immaturity make it easier to feel a hint of sympathy. but these adults are simply monsters

Bad decisions from the corrupt family court system is probably the biggest "legal" act that turns an otherwise good person into a murderer.
Just the way the 3rd lady says “yaa” after spewing the story about the car for sale, you can almost hear the “wow ok you believed that story” which I imagine she’s saying in her head.

I'm confused - he was telling the truth when he said that. Usually the guilty party would say the victim and them were friends and had no issues, which their friends will say wasn't true. He was very smart for telling the truth about that.
Took me off guard as well, but I think that would’ve gotten out anyway (said to friends and family). I think he was being as honest as he could be because he has a solid alibi.

What’s terrifying is how short their sentences are. If it wasn’t for their stupidity and the kindness of others, they would be actual murder for hire plots. Domestic abuse is a precursor in nearly every single one. All these ‘parents’ concerned about custody battles without giving a thought to what will happen to their kid in the foster care system with one murdered and one incarcerated parent
