LMAO This man knows! The day night cycle makes it flower (almost only pot, most plants dont care) and if it has 24 hour light itll just grow massive in the veg stage until you make it flower.
@@abdmzn hes a pretty successful accountant & ryan agreed with him so i highly doubt he fucked up the math. Probably just some weird way of doing it that isnt necessary for day to day calculations
Nick also works with numbers for a living. They get a quarter of the total. He's entirely correct to call out the 175% number as just wrong - there's no real way that 175% can be used to quadruple a number. To get the total from their portion, you multiply by 4, or 400%. At first Greg says "you multiply it by 175%" which is wrong. Then when Nick calls him out on this and corrects him - you multiply by 4 - Greg calls this "a cheap way of doing it" and claims that "when you think about it, that's 175%, because you're multiplying by..." and trails off because he's finally talked long enough to reach the thought that he is confidently incorrect. They then all agree that they should multiply by 4; when Nick presses that he doesn't understand where the 175% is coming from, Greg just says "don't worry, it's fine" because he realized he was wrong and is trying to save face by maintaining a smug facade of condescension. Then Ryan tries to (incorrectly) make the distinction: "you *increase* it by 175%", which Greg tries to latch onto by (once again incorrectly) clarifying: "you multiply it by 175%, add it together, and you get the total". If you factor out the original portion, that's just multiplying by 100%+175%. 275% is still not 400%.
I have no clue why you keep talking to captain hues. She offers zero information or assistance and can't even handle kobolds. Your wasting your time talking to her. Even recounting your adventures with her is pointless cuz furthers the story none and you have absolutely no reason to trust her.
It's an RP Punching-bag. There's not many NPC to let players interact with in Caldo. Neal was "nodding" through Hues, letting William do his things, nothing more to add to the conversation here, while rolling dices (for weather etc..) Hues was initially here to "start" the campaign, giving them a direction and "quest" (kobolds etc..). Hues reminded multiple times about kobolds, and indicated "Mmh, nope, not with a ghost, lol." and other stuff, that's the party's job to get a clue and understand/prioritize what to do with informations.
For 50 gold a week I figure the party could probably just sail up and down the coasts killing polar bears and seals and making mad bank.
The faces on everyone when Neal said "Well plants need sleep too, right?" was absolutely priceless

He really seems to want to AVOID researching spells... imagine if he got fireball. Itd be so useful! I dont get it...
Jaromir isn’t a high enough level at the time of this episode to get fireball, all the really really good spells come at later levels
