    Will this unit process baleage as easy as dry hay bales?

    • @Jaylor
      @Jaylor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      for sure. Because baleage is denser it actually processes faster than dry hay.

    Y did the engine pick up when the blade started spinning?

    • @Jaylor
      @Jaylor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you mean at about 0:25? The tractor engine was at idle and RPMs we raised a bit before the PTO was engaged.

      We'd recommend working with your local nutritionist so that they can do chemical analysis of the components to design a ration specific to your operation (along with a plan for each part of the ration).

    Sir please know how to make TMR. A feed list of cows can be given. I love watching your videos from Bangladesh. I would appreciate it if you let me know.

    How many head & what size cattle was that set up for?

    • @Jaylor
      @Jaylor  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +jghnky At the time they had 50 or so head but the facility is setup for about 100. Cattle weighed 800-1000lbs. Fed his own calves and others to finish, and sold them niche-market restaurants and elsewhere.

      Thanks for your comment. We actually build these TMR Mixer to handle that!

    • @billyraub8197
      @billyraub8197 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, they can handle it, but to get the best cutting out of the feed wagon, put all your dry stuff in first after the bale of hay

    EAT BEEF!

    • @danielculpepper9258
      @danielculpepper9258 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      And kill the planet!!! Do you know how much land, feed/crops, water, etc. are wasted to grow one heifer to 24 months?! If only all this were going to feed the millions of starving children! Beef and dairy production are the two only industries that are going to pollute and ultimately kill the planet! Go vegan!

    • @Jaylor
      @Jaylor  8 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Daniel: Beef and dairy production is, in fact, environmentally responsible food production as ruminants are able to turn ingredients that humans can’t eat directly (i.e. silage, brewing by-products, hay, ect.) into food that we can eat. Also, beef is delicious.
