- 7 Days in London: The Perfect Way to Spend a Week in London
There is so much to do in London, it can be hard to narrow it down into just one week. I've put together a 7-day itinerary itinerary of some of my favourite spots. Walk along the South Bank, stop at the London Eye, and cross the Millennium Bridge. Have lunch at Borough Market and visit the Tower of London. Take a boat ride to Greenwich and see the Royal Observatory at sunset. Take a Royal London walking tour, go shopping or visit a museum. Have brunch in Little Venice, go to Camden Market, and enjoy afternoon tea. Check out Portobello Road Market, Kensington Palace, and Kensington Gardens. End the day in SoHo with dinner and a West End show. Visit Hampstead Heath and tour Highgate Cemetery.
I've included some activity lists for each day so you can screenshot them and use them for reference. I hope this helps you have an amazing time in London!

This itinerary is so well done. I watched a lot of videos on the topic and this one has to be among the best! Thank you so much! I would consider making other itineraries for different durations. I think people going for 3 days might not click on a 7 day one, even tough of course it would still be useful to them. But you know, people are lazy :)

Wife and I are doing London last week of September. Many thanks for suggestions and the visuals, it helps. we hadn't planned on Greenwich, but now it's on the list. Liberty for sure, Portobello road on Saturday plus any antique stores, I think maybe on New Bond St. Wife is a big junker. What about Spitalfields Market? Worth it?
I do like Spitalfields, but you’ll find a lot of the same stuff there as the other markets. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way.

1 Remember to pack shoes that are comfortable to walk in!
2 A good place to see a view of Saint Paul's Cathedral is on Ludgate - one of the roads leading down from St Paul's towards the West. Walk down it and turn left into Pilgrim Street, walk along this and look West to see Saint Bride's church (another Wren church), which has a tiered spire.
Great video. London sounds really, really cute. Actually, I appreciate this young lady's take, helps me guess what my daughters will enjoy. Will watch the videos about transportation, etc. BTW it's called a portico - the long covered hallway with the poles.😉

Hello! Thank you for your video, I will travel to London for the third time in April so I've been looking for new stuff to visit and your video helped a lot. Both times I went there was only for 3 days so I didn't eat at restaurants or anywhere really mainly because I never know if we have to tip or not in England. I've been searching quite a few times on the internet but some people say you have to and some people say you don't so I hope you can answer my question
Most of the time a service charge is already included in the bill. If it isn’t you can ask to add a tip, but there’s no obligation.
My goodness! After all this, you would need a month's holiday!😂

Thanks for the helpful video,but if I want to see the Royal Naval College from the outside do I also have to pay for the ticket or is the ticket only for the opportunity to see the interiors and the exhibition?
Glad you found it helpful! You can see the outside for free, you only need a ticket to go inside the Painted Hall.

Hi Emily-going in July. Is this a good time to visit?
If we follow this 7 day itinerary, where do you recommend staying? What area? We’re a family of 5, two teenagers & 1 elementary school child. We are not a fan of Airb&b’s…4 star accommodation at least.
July is a great time to visit. Some areas I really like that are quite central are Mayfair, Marylebone, Notting Hill, and Chelsea. But honestly as long as you stay within a 10 minute walk of a tube station you can get anywhere in London very quickly.
@@emily_meadowsAfter watching the video, you had me thinking Greenwich was the spot for me. Surprised that's not on the shortlist, you raved about it.
@@fiveoranges Greenwich is a bit outside of central London, so I wouldn’t recommend staying there for a short trip since it’s not close to many of the main tourist sites. I would still recommend visiting Greenwich for a day though.

I wanna visit London so bad the hotels and accommodations are so expensive in UK, I wanna stay a week or two at least explore Bath,Costwolds, York, Oxford and other areas in England outside of London.
Airbnb is not that expensive
I'm from Miami, so my standards are pretty low, and Camden is a bit too stabby for me. I'll pass on that part.
most of the sights you mention are tourist traps.
Even if my flight and hotel in London are covered I’ll turn it down.
