Understanding and solving the 3x3x2 cuboid - Tutorial [DE]

The 3x3x2 cuboid can be solved intuitively and also understood quite well if you understand its group as a subgroup of the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. In this video, I present the basics and then the resulting solution method. We also derive some algorithms (so we don't just memorise them, we actually understand them).
