I wish you could command catapults where to shoot because sometimes they do weird stuff instead of prioritizing enemy's siege machines. I just won my first 400 vs 1400 defense and I did something similar but completely different; I slowed down the ram by simply killing off the people pushing it, the less people are on it, the slower it goes, and if you're consistent with the killing the slow is quite significant, my main skill is archery so one headshot usually does the trick. Then I bunker down on some side to have clear view of the ladders and hs everyone trying to climb
First of all, thank you for your kind comment. I also tried to slow down the ram by shooting the people pushing it with arrows, just like you suggested. However, even if I hit them in the head, they don't die in one shot. Additionally, while slowing down the ram, what I actually want is for the catapults to kill as many people as possible before the ram reaches its target. I want the enemy numbers to decrease as much as possible before the rams reach their range. Perhaps I didn't mention this in the video.

@@gamesofworld2000 It's not really a suggestion, just simply what I do and how I prefer to play. I know people come up with crazy strats and can defend solo vs whole armies, but I like to keep it semi-realistic and not just abuse the dumb enemy ai to a point of utter ridiculousness :P
I see. Generally, I prefer to play more realistically too. However, sometimes you're willing to do anything to hold onto a city you love dearly, except cheating, of course :D
This video has helped me greatly to improve my defense. I have around 185 soldiers with only around 60 being high level. Im fighting an army of 800 but i managed to double my kills first thing after this video. Now if only i can slow down the ram i might buy more time for my troops to make kills.

Using the rocks in that pile enemies while they are trying to climb is actually satisfying and you can win just with that, but we salute you commander. what's the stat on your sword? I use the same blade and I made it shorter for fast attack but yours seems fast
I agree with you. In my previous video, I didn't use rocks but bombs, and I killed a tremendous number of enemies. My sword's name is falx. I bought it, I didn't make it myself. Maybe it's related to the character level. Greetings to you too, my lord ❤

@@gamesofworld2000 You need to learn how to hit with a sword from above. (... from top to bottom.) This strike is more effective, especially in tight spaces. In addition, such a blow hits the head more often and causes more damage.

Well, good idea, but catapults and rocks are just fine. But Good to know those recipe too!

This is cheap tho you have the battle size limit to what lol 200 only? Youre not getting the full threat
I conquered this city with only 100 men. (th-cam.com/video/phMBfg72RiU/w-d-xo.html). That's why I don't have many soldiers. You're right, of course I could build large armies and conquer or defend cities more easily. I'm just trying different things. I'm glad you enjoyed it. ❤
