Being from Spain I know that Barcelona and Madrid are very beautiful cities, but I need to recomend the southern part of Spain, Andalucia. You can find lots of monuments that are a perfect combination of our African roots with Spanish culture, as well as having diverse and stunning landscapes! Cities like Seville, Granada, Cádiz and Córdoba are just a few of all the gems that can be found there 🥰But it is very important not to visit these places in summer, it gets pretty hot 😅 Also, I would recommend people to explore traditional dishes, paella is nice but if you dig deeper in Spanish gastronomy you will fall in love, I promise! 😊
Hi, i'm from Asturias, I feel your description was quite accurate, however, I think is important to know that every region has its own traditions. it's true that from a foreigner sight, spain it's known for Bulls, paella and flamenco, but in reality those topics are mostly from some regions located in the south and east. You'll find more delicious traditional dishes, architecture and landscapes in other regions. I wish you can visit other places someday!
I studied abroad in Madrid and went all over the country. Sevilla is my favorite city by far! Lots of young people and so beautiful! Rideshares like Lyft and Uber are NOT available in every major city. Local people in Barcelona typically do not love tourists. There are signs around the city in Catalan that say “tourism is ruining our city.” If you look like a tourists, taxis will drive right past you. Just a warning! My group had to walk 3 miles at 5am in Barcelona bc there werent ride share options and taxis wouldn’t stop for us. Just be aware!
I was in Barcelona in April of 2022. Weather was ideal for me. A bit overcast, I got some sun and it rained as I left to Seville. I loved it. Must visit Gaudi’s houses and La Sagrada Familia. I love the people. Be careful about your surroundings around las ramblas and have fun. I miss Spain and i can’t wait to return
I’m Italian 🇮🇹i love Spain and i visit all city in Spain 🇪🇸 my preferite city are : 1 Segovia ( with incredible romanian acquedotto ) 2 Zaragoza 3 San Sebastián 4 Toledo 5 Siviglia 6 Alicante 7 Valencia 8 Santander 9 Murcia 10 Valladolid
Visit Barcelona, then hop on a ferry to Mallorca, rent a car, drive around the island, visit all the small villages in the inland hills, take a flight or another ferry to Menorca, rent another car and do the same thing! The islands are so great!
The best recommendation I can give is to visit Andalucia region (the south) and at least Sevilla and Córdoba. The real flamenco and tapas culture comes mainly from the south!
You must visit Málaga in Andalucía and Galicia, you would love to do “el Camino De Santiago”, I’ve lived all my life in the city center of Málaga and can recommend many places where real locals go to eat not the tourist ones. However, if you want to eat the best food and visit the best beaches and nature Galicia is the place to go.
I have only been to Barcelona so far, but I had such a great time there! The food in the city is incredible, and I enjoyed checking out all the different Gaudi sites from Sagrada Familia to Park Guell. I would love to get back to Spain to see not only Madrid but also all the different cities and towns down in Andalucia.
I visited Barcelona in July of 2018 (I know, I know, but I didn't think it was too overcrowded) and it really was an amazing experience. The beach, the hills and Gaudi's unique architecture really make it a beautiful city. And I was lucky to be at Monjuic in just the right minute to see the fountains go on. I'd love to return to Spain to see some more of this country.
Spain was perfect ...My country Iran has many perfect places to see I can't number them cause they are a lot...Lexi I love you visit this old land🤩😍🤩😍🤩
España es una fascinante mezcla de cultura; arte ; tradicion y comida excelente aparte de los paisajes y playas por supuesto por algo es el segundo pais mas visitado; Te queda muy bien la camiseta del Barcelona😀
This is the very first video im experiencing of you and i randomly played it. Suddenly I saw you are wearing our jersey and then I quickly clicked Subscribe button and hit the bell. 💙❤️ Visca barca. Visca catalunya!! Go on 🙌
Love this kind of informative vids, gave me Geography Now vibes. Visited last year and really enjoyed Southern Spain, especially Sevilla. Attended La Feria de Abril and had a ton of fun. ❤💛 from California
Mis places favoritos that I he visitado en España, by un español. If you love la cultura, you can't forget these places: ·Casa Botín (The most ancient restaurante en the world). Está localizado en Madrid ·Puy de Fu, Toledo (el last show es espectacular) ·Trujillo ·Cáceres ·Cueva Altamira, Cantabria ·Córdoba ·Resistencia de Numancia ·Segovia ·Valencia ·Málaga ·Granada ·Sevilla ·Mérida ·Barcelona If you are un naturaleza lover, then te recomiendo these other places: ·El cañón del río Lobos, Soria.
San Sebastián in the Basque region is the most beautiful little coastal city I’ve ever visited. The beach/bay feels like being in between two crab claws. There’s a giant Jesus statue at the top of the mountain so its like a mini Rio de Janeiro
Lexxi, Spain sounds a lot like Greece. Siestas and being late. I call it Greek time. I’m half Greek on my father’s side, but I absolutely hate it when my Greek friends are late. No excuse. At least my Greek/American relatives are not like that. Glad you enjoyed Spain!
Hey ! Lexie , I really love your traveling videos. In 21 years old you visit over 197+ countries. Please, make a video on India and India's heritage, culture. Please, again visit to India 🇮🇳. And make blog on India. As a Indian , I strongly believe that lots of Americans really love ❤️ India & Indians. 🇮🇳❤️🇺🇲🥰✌️ Happy Journey for your future ✌️
the african issue... well, you forgot one froniter, the one with Morocco, because there are 2 beautiful spanish cities in the african continent, Ceuta and Melilla, so you can come to spain by ferry from Tangier, or also go to those cities and take a ferry, a plane or an helicopter to the european territory.
Lexie, first of all, congratulations on your new adventure "Lexie & the New Electric Ford Explorer world wide tour", we will enjoy it with you! Second, I really like your travel videos, are awesome!. And last but not least, I really like the t-shirt you're wearing in this video!😁
1:18 min: our city, Zaragoza!! We didn't know that you had been 😲 We are very close to the Pyrenees, we are glad you mention it, people need to know about it! 😄 So funny the way you pronounced 'Barajas' 🤭 We confirm about the sunscreen, very important here! Regarding punctuality, we specifically are punctual and we know people who are too. But it is true that there are people who aren't punctual and usually arrive quite late (regarding friends). Andorra is a great idea from Barcelona, we have in our channel a video subtitled in English for those who want to know more about it 😃 For pickpockets etc., we recommend taking special care in Barcelona, as it is very common. It is true that in general terms Spain is a safe country, but nowadays there are more and more cases of harassment to women. So it is important to do what Lexie says, act with common sense. Yes, indeed, the islands of Spain are an incredible option that you don't want to miss! Those who want to know more about the Pyrenees or Zaragoza.. we have videos about it with English subtitiles in our channel! We think it was a very good video about Spain, Lexie! Love from Zaragoza!
Go on the way of st. James. yes it takes a while to complete but is a really great experience for reflecting and going out of the daly life. You can even do the way of st. james for around 20€ a day and still be really comfortable. I did the whole thing with just 50 € but that is a bit harder. Also I defenetly recomend goin in the autum and winter becaue it is not to hot and there are less pilgrims.
Thank you for useful information🙂🤗 I was in Malaga in October 2022, looking for culinary inspirations and I recommend visiting Malaga🥰🥰..I'm going this year too😁🥰🇪🇸
The way you make your Videos is Prefect. The quality content of this Channel is Amazing, this Channel will Grow .Your videos is only as good as his Drew binsky channel, But you are Unique in you own way .
I just booked a trip to Israel from the USA. Lucky for me, I have a 17 hour layover in Madrid! Hey, as long as you leave the airport, it counts, right? lol

Galicia is a hidden gem. Beautiful beaches, great seafood, and Santiago and Coruña are both amazing cities. Love Spain from the US 🇪🇸
