I died in the fourth island on my first playthrough in vanilla map. I decided to play the dead lands version for a change and this video helped a lot :)
great video bro, i bought two crowns because i played new lands and loved it, and i got lost and didn't know what this new lands was,and you voice is soo nice
I only just got this game this week but recently beat deadlands first because I enjoyed the bloodstained characters. Very cool and helpful tips though I think you're under valuing the Gamigin. I think being able to clear fields of bunnies or even deer with it's charge attack can often be super helpful, that said I did trade it out for the stag's speed for later by the 2nd island. Regardless I think the Gamigin is definitely awesome pocket mount to swap to when you need some reliable money or at least for the first island where you find it - it's so cheap.
It's definitely a handy mount in the early game and in some situations, I just found other mounts like the golem and lizard to be more useful for surviving tough waves, didn't really try it once I had Zangetsu but I'd imagine that's a nice balance of extra firepower and ability to get some coins when needed
@@possplays I have to concede it is kind of a terrible mount for actually fighting enemies for the most part though haha, I just like being able to hunt my own bunnies/deer
gamigin seems a mount for like one time use, like i dont recommend to use it "forever" all i recommend is only using it wen you have the Stable just because hes very slow, but if you use gabel this is not gonna be a problem, at least not as much, but well thats how i play with it.
the golems wall can actually push breeders back a little and they cant attack your wall and its abilitys cooldown is short so you can literally shut down breeders and win easily
have you ever made a video of tips from the huts of the elderly in kingdom two crows? if not please do it because I don't know what each two old men do.
yeah it's great for getting around quickly, I just preferred the other mounts' abilities. Though the beetle or Gamigin are probably the mounts to pick for a speedrun
Hey Poss, which monarch-mount combo do you suggest to attack a Cliff Portal? I only don’t have the lizard and the beetle. Btw I just found your channel because I bought Two Crowns a few days ago and your content is a must, super useful. Thanks!
I think zangetsu is the best monarch for attack the cliff portal, as the increased attack speed helps you get through a lot quicker. I'd say he's a better choice than miriam, because miriam's ability can just cause lots of greedlings to build up, which can be a real danger to your squires/knights if they're not dealt with by your archers. As for mounts, it doesn't really matter which one you use, none of their abilities are super useful for the cliff portal, so just stick with whatever one you're using normally.
zag and lizard, but if you dont want to move then use golem, but a little tip, the lizard on dead lands is much more powerfull because of Gebel, his hability with the lizard is a powerfull combo.
Hello theres Poss Plays! Do you have sn overall favorite mount? or a top 5 mount from all the dlcs kingdom two crowns has? Thank you for the video. You've helped me a great deal! Cheers!!!
Right now the Kelpie is my favourite, but that's probably cos I've been playing a chunk of Norse Lands recently. Even though the lizard is really slow and has bad stamina, I still really like using it, think it's got a great ability and design, just a shame it isn't really as useful as other mounts.
Please could you make a future video about the lighthouses, ninjas and pikemens in Kingdom two crowns? I would like to know how they work. So could you explain that in video? Sorry for my english I am not a native speaker.
At the moment there isn't any clear details on what the lighthouse upgrades do, some say it makes the lighthouse last longer, some say it slows how quickly that island decays. Here's some information on it, but I wouldn't be able to give any definite answer about what the upgrades do. kingdomthegame.fandom.com/wiki/Lighthouse Pikemen and Ninjas both fish to earn coins during the day and defend your kingdom at night. Pikemen will sit just inside your walls and stab at anything that gets close enough to them, which is good for dealing with groups of greedlings that your archers are struggling to hit and doing a little extra damage to breeders. After a certain number of uses (not sure) their pike will break and you'll need to buy a new one, but it lasts quite a while and is cheap, so it's worth having a couple on each side of your kingdom if possible, don't really need any more than that. Ninjas will set up at the nearest trees to your walls and will jump out to attack greed from behind as they pass. After they've killed a few greed or they get hit, they'll disappear in a cloud of smoke and reappear within your walls, usually needing to be rehired. If you've cleared a lot of trees near your walls then the ninjas will have to run a long way to get set up and might not make it before the greed get to them, making them useless. Ninjas don't work as well for defense later in the game because the larger greed attacks are likely to hit the ninja sooner, but the coins they get from fishing are still handy.
Happy to help. I don't think it would be enough to make a full video. I added the bit about pikemen/ninjas to the description of my coins & jobs video, which does a brief overview of all the jobs that villagers can have
Happy to help! I'm planning on doing a guide for the regular campaign, which will apply to the shogun campaign too as the main difference is having ninja instead of pikemen. Wasn't gonna do one specifically for the shogun campaign as I'd end up repeating a lot of things
Here's a link to the wiki kingdomthegame.fandom.com/wiki/Ninja?mobile-app=false I should've covered them more in one of my other videos so don't think I'll make one just for them
That would be pretty cool. It'd be interesting if they added a few things like this, little upgrades than you could buy for any mounts. So you could have saddlebags for extra coins on any mount, or something like a feeding bag for extra stamina.
Does this expansion or dlc not allow you to do catapults? I have played around with it to see how things were working but I got all the way to island 4 yesterday and never saw a catapult.
Catapults do still spawn in the Dead Lands DLC, but I did find it quite tricky to get them to spawn sometimes, I think the game prioritises spawning the stained glass mural, so you need to have even more open space before the workshop spawns
Hello Poss Plays.. Im a sub for quite some time know im here to ask what is the best way to defend a blood moon?... Im really struggling because of the breeders i use griffin but i notice its not much of an effect when there's breeders.. I tried lizard, it was better in defending but still, breeders take my walls and destroy my army.. now i am frighten to destroy a portal because of the blood moon revenge attack.. Pls reply i need your help i really like this game and i dont want it to end just because of these mass breeders Edited: im in the normal kingdom two crowns... Not in deadlands
There's only a few things I can suggest. Having a catapult is a must, and try to make sure you stock it with at least 4 or 5 fire barrels if you know a blood moon is coming, so if you're attacking a portal, buy them before sending your squires/knights out. The lizard is the best mount for harder blood moons, all you can do is put down regular fire to help damage the greed at your walls. It's handy to have a couple of pikemen as a backup in case your fire runs out and to do a little extra damage to the breeders once they're at your walls. Try and have a good amount of archers, the more the merrier. Have at least one archer tower at your outer walls too, it's better at damaging breeders if it's outside the walls. If there's another wall you can build not too far behind your outer wall it might be worth doing, as then your troops are more likely to be able to retreat if the first wall breaks. Doing all of this may be a little over the top but hopefully it helps
@@possplays thank you very much really appreciate a TH-camr like you who really asses your subscribers.. Im going to recommend you to my friends thanks for helping 😁😁
and 3 years later i find myself watching your videos as i start to play the game again. this is me just in a different account, lost that account a few months ago. no longer afraid to take down portals🎉 been rewatching your videos to refresh my memory a bit. going to play the norse lands dlc. these guides still hold up, thank you❤
Squires and their archers will only follow you when you build the bomb, so that you can move ahead of it while clearing the way to the portal. You can also pay squires to go and attack the nearest portal on their side of the kingdom, so you may have just seen a point where i was running a little in front of them but they weren't following me. Hope that helps
I have to say Dead Lands is a severe downgrade, if for nothing else than having no Griffon. So you're stuck with a movement speed of McDonalds Customer of the Year. But i curiously also had about three times the bugs in this mode. (no foraging bug, merchant gives no coins bug, etc.) My playthrough with Dead Lands was by far the worst experience i had in two crowns. By FAR!
I agree the lack of a Griffon can be tedious at times, but I think that's the point, the Griffon is the go-to mount in the regular campaign, useful in a lot of ways, so I think they were maybe trying to get players to experiment or at least have a bit more of a challenge. I did like some of the monarch abilities but you're right, it definitely sucked to be less mobile and it wasn't as fun as the regular campaign, but I still enjoyed it
True, but there's the danger of having mounts that are too powerful, especially with the extra monarch abilities, and then the game either becomes too easy or they make it harder and it's less accessible to new players. There's definitely a gap left by the griffin that didn't get filled, and I think if the beetle had a couple of small changes it'd be a lot better and would've been a lot of fun to use, but unfortunately not
i think developer kinda avoid having fast mount in dead land because of gebel which is alredy so fast anyway they see little point to put griffon there but yea isee more bugs in deadland than any other mode
These normally aren't my type of game but there's a certain charm about this game that has me coming back. And the music is phenomenal.

They're safe, kind of like mounts after you've paid the gems to unlock them but not the coins. They'll just sit there until you get them
